A DJ doesn’t just play music.

They read the room.

I wanted to make this documentary to not only show how we see this craft but also how they see us consuming it.

So we spent the weekend following Krate Digga from gig to gig to understand the person behind it all.

THE KRATE DOC

Busy weekend.

Friday: Dedication ceremony at @westwoodhs_scs

Saturday: Memphis Greek Festival at @lemoyneowencollege

Sunday: Interviewed @darrahhall for my for my doc about Tennessee’s redistricting.

This upcoming week: Test some equipment, get some b roll, do some small gigs and then it’s off to South Carolina for a client.

As my friend @annadeshawn says, I’m “just working the work”. taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @thepodpilot

Something special happened today in the southwest corner of Memphis today. So used my craft to tell a story.

The beauty of becoming a new filmmaker is that your friends allow you to practice and try things with them.

Last month we traveled to Columbus, Ohio to be part of a one of a kind experience, #FLOHState. But that entire weekend we followed my guy @kratedigga around the city for his multiple gigs.

And we filmed it all.

So on August 13th, a The Tables Might Wobble Film from the @mpnmanagement , we present, The Krate Doc.

Krate shares insights from that weekend and the craft he has perfected over the years. taken in Columbus, Ohio by @thepodpilot

Sometimes the most meaningful stories aren’t about the outcome. They’re about the decision to pursue something that most people believe is impossible.

BEYOND 4 follows Paralympian Joel Gomez as he chases one of the most iconic barriers in athletics: the four-minute mile. More than a film about a race, it’s a story about preparation, resilience, and the courage to keep chasing a dream that extends far beyond the clock.

Honored to have documented this chapter of Joel’s journey.

Basically, we shot a track and field event and a sports doc simultaneously over the weekend. We are spent.

But we gained +1000 XP.

And Beale Street was crazy yesterday. Shot put by day, pole vault at night.

We took almost 800 photos at the event. Here are a few.

We wanted to tell a unique story of the event.
