Turns out there’s a little bit more to matcha than just lattes...

Last weekend we talked through origin and cultivars, what farms are up against right now, and the ratios and water temps to make the best matcha at home. Everyone sifted and whisked their own bowl of @drinkmuracha matcha and took home some goodies. Not a bad way to start a Sunday 🍵

Highlights from this past Saturday! To everyone who rolled out of bed for this one, thank you! 🙏🏼

We teamed up with @baselinerunclub, @sherunsthisofficial, and @thebluepot.flowers for a neighborhood run, post-run flowers, and matcha and coffee to finish it off.

We all know Atlanta summer isn’t done with us yet! Before we jump into fall, we’re doing a limited end of summer menu featuring our toasted coconut syrup and ube cold foam. Both are made in house and created by our baristas as a nod to their Filipino heritage.

Ube is a purple yam grown in the Philippines and has a mild, nutty, and vanilla flavor. The ube cold foam (contains dairy) can be added to any iced drinks.

The toasted coconut syrup is made from real Filipino coconut flakes and is rich, nutty, and sweet. It works well in both hot or iced drinks.   Stop by this Labor Day weekend (we’ll be open on Monday) and mix and match these options while they last! by @thepostcardatl

Round 2 of our matcha making workshop with @thepostcardatl will be held on September 20th! It sold out so quickly the first time, we are offering two time slots -
8AM and 10AM.

Through tastings and a demo, learn about different cultivars and how to properly prepare a bowl. Then take a hand at it by whisking your own matcha! That will be turned into a delicious drink we can enjoy together at the end.

Daniel will provide a tasting and demo and then you will be able to practice how to whisk the perfect bowl of matcha yourself!
