I would say the hard work on this piece is done. All down hill from here.

Working on what I would call an “RPF legacy” prop, this is the presidents phone from The Fifth Element. Making some really good progress on this pretty simple build. Getting that button to fit nicely in the recess took about 20 mins of filing and sanding, but I got there.

Calling this Farscape Peacekeeper grenade done, even though I am not happy with it. I moved too fast with the masking and the paint job suffered. I was able to rehab it a bit, but overall I am not pleased. However, this is for a costume and will spend most of its life in a leather pouch, so I will let it slide. Maybe I’ll do another one and call it a hero. #farscape #prop #replica by @theprojectworkbench

And just like that, Halloween prep is finished. Now that I am older and wiser, the days of cosplay panic are behind me. Now I just pull a costume off the shelf out of the library, and I am ready to go!

Bandai X-Wing Fighter. With just the included stickers, I think this guy looks fantastic. Might be time to build a bigger one. @roboterkampf am I ready for Wonderfest???
