Since it’s officially Spring, I wanted to take the morning to show gratitude for my little space away from home.
Alice the Tiny House. This space provides solitude, sanctuary and vibes constantly.
Named after my grandmother, my tiny home truly holds a special place in my heart. During the Spring and Summer months, the backyard is a magical place.
Always in awe at how perfect everything worked out when I found this gem of a home.
Can’t wait to add some new additions to Alice this year, making this small but mighty getaway that much more amazing.

This is my home…

Over the past couple years here I’ve had to sacrifice other things to make this house truly a home. Piecing it together room by room, project by project until it became my place of sanctuary.
It’s taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears… but I would do it over again if I had to.
Although I have a long way to go I like to take a step back and remind myself how far Hattie has come.
I’m honored to call this place my home, and will forever be grateful for it.

When you have the right mindset about a particular thing, you’re better able to handle it. That’s pretty much my thought process when it comes to just about anything in life.
The minute I came to the realization that I would never find the perfect home, the easier it became to find the right one for me.
While house hunting, there would always be something. An outdated kitchen, no open floor plan … not enough storage .. the list goes on.
So, once that switch happen about what the perfect home would be for me, there was an abundance of everything.
I couldn’t find the “perfect” home because I would have to make it that way. As unique as we all are, our homes should be as well.
If you don’t like a space in your home, if you’re in the market for a house, go into the process with the idea that the possibilities are endless when you make it what you want.

Even thought we are in fake Fall here in GA, it’s still officially one pot, and soup season.
If you’ve been here with me for a while, you remember my page use to be all things food. I promised myself to tap back in to the things that grounded me, my passion and my love - which will always be health and wellness.
So I’m taking the opportunity to use my favorite season as inspiration to get back to what love.

Hello October …
October feels like an invitation to return to yourself. To honor how far you’ve come, embrace what you’re shedding, and make space for what’s ready to bloom.

There’s something sacred about this season. The dark feminine reminds us that transformation doesn’t always happen in the light. Sometimes our greatest growth happens in solitude, in the shadows, and in the quiet moments when we’re learning to trust our own intuition.

As a Cancer, I’m especially drawn to the reminder that success isn’t just about what we create, but how deeply rooted we are in ourselves while creating it.

Maybe this is the season to stop waiting for permission, honor the woman we’re becoming, and trust that what’s meant for us doesn’t require us to abandon ourselves to receive it.

It’s always coffee day this way .. heard yesterday was National Coffee Day.

There’s something beautiful about the ritual of coffee. From the way the beans are grown and nurtured by the earth, to the grinding, the pouring, the aroma filling the room, and that first warm sip.

It’s more than making a cup. It’s a moment to slow down, be present, and appreciate all the hands, time, and nature that brought it here.

A little ritual. A little pause. A whole lot of intention.

I’ve always loved storytelling, which to me is exactly what branding should be when it comes to your business. It’s so much more than just the design and colors.

For me, branding has always been about creating a feeling. A feeling of care. Intention. Wellness. Community. A reminder that taking care of yourself can be beautiful, soulful, and deeply rooted in who you are.

@karmanutra was born from my love for health and wellness, but it has grown into so much more than food. It’s about creating spaces and experiences that make people feel good. What we put into our bodies, the spaces we create, the things we surround ourselves with, the rituals we build into our days… all of it is connected.

And honestly, that’s the part of building this business that I love most. Bringing all of those pieces together and watching an idea that started in my heart slowly become something people can actually experience.

The food. The branding. The wellness. The design. The community. The little details in between.

I’ve been so focused on who I’m becoming and everything I still want to create that I sometimes forget to honor how far I’ve come.

I think we can get so caught up in the next version of ourselves that we forget to sit with the version that made it this far.

There are things in my life today that the little girl in me once dreamed about. Things I prayed for, imagined, wrote down, spoke about like they were somewhere far away. And now, some of them are simply my reality.

That doesn’t mean I’m done dreaming. If anything, I think it gives me even more reason to dream bigger. But I’m learning that gratitude and ambition can exist in the same space. I can want more without making what I have feel like it’s not enough.

So today, I’m taking a moment to look around. To acknowledge the growth, the lessons, the risks, the little wins, and the things that once felt impossible.

To let her see that we really did some of the things we said we would.
And maybe that’s part of becoming too… remembering to stop every now and then and actually witness the life I’m creating. by @therealafrohemian
