Creativos por Contar CAP 1 Nicolas Pereda📝 La historia de Nico como fue iniciando su proyecto de calzado un 3D. My entry for Vizcom x Zellerfeld Mule Design Challenge 🌻 The project Sunflower resembles the fun and freedom that AI and 3D printing can enable onto designing everyday objects. Took inspiration from my friend @micsil3 , who is a tattoo artist! A long time ago we had an idea to bring to life one of his most iconic symbols, the sunflower, and apply it to a sneaker design… it was always this abstract idea of how it could actually look and feel, but sketches felt a bit distant. 🎨 So, I took this idea we had and decided to bring it to life using @vizcom_ , taking a fully AI driven approach to my design workflow (which I not really used to). I’d say it’s one the most complete and easy to use workflows I’ve encountered, definitely adding it to my process on the future! The fun part of this is that just starting from a loose sketch you can iterate at lightspeed and not fully compromise with a design direction, you can be as wild or tamed as you want and it doesn’t matter, because it’s a design exploration! Took bunch of inspiration from @ad__sneaks type lf photography, which I consider one of the 🐐! Thanks to @zellerfeld for partnering with @vizcom_ to host this very entertaining challenge, definitely had a great time 😁 All made using AI. by @therealnp51

Agradecidisimo del último tiempo, han pasado muchas cosas que solo eran sueños y ahora se estan materializando! Siento que he conectado más profundo con personas increibles y eso hace que todo se vuelva mucho más especial 🤩 Pronto se vendrá una nueva evolución del concepto NP51 y eso me tiene muy ansioso, pero feliz a la vez! NP51 STUDIO LAUNCH PARTY 👟🚨 Just a couple of weeks ago NP51 STUDIO launched the first fully 3D printed sneaker in Chile! 🇨🇱 It wouldn’t have been the same to only launch the NP-01s online, so we decided to make history… we wanted people to see them with their own eyes, in real life and not just through a screen. We wanted everyone to touch and squeeze the future, make spontaneous questions about the whole process, materials, foot-scanning, and make real connections ✨ Thanks to @cavalera.cl for supporting and believing in us, and for lending their amazing tattoo studio for this event! Much appreciation also to our sponsors @sister.drinks @newyorkpizzaco.cl @hgaudiocl and @heinekencl for making the ambience so cool 🤩 Everyone was really amazed by how far the intersection between technology and design can take the human species forward. We want to make things that takes us together to a better and happier world, so we work in that every day! Cada par que se imprima estará hecho 100% a la medida de cada persona, en un único material reciclable y producido bajo demanda! Se acabaron las guias de tallas inentendibles, el sobre-stock y las altas barreras de entrada al mercado. Sooner than later, the NP - 01 will be available for everyone in the world!!! What a beautiful and challenging journey it has been… I remember when I first saw 3D printed shoes I couldn’t believe my eyes, and now I’m about to launch my first model to EVERYONE in the WORLD!
