This past week at the @hougrandopera has truly been so special. As a now proud alumni of their Young Artist Vocal Academy, I have learned so much about my own voice and how it will develop as I continue my journey in classical singing, as well as the industry of opera. The friends and colleagues I’ve met and worked with this week are all people of whom I hope to get the chance to cross paths with again as we grow alongside one another in our own journeys! I have really learned so much here, and I will continue to bring these lessons with me into the future! I am forever grateful to have had this wonderful experience! taken in Houston Grand Opera by @therealrobertdakwar

Vien Leonora from Donizetti’s La Favorita. One of my favorite pieces to perform, and one of the most expressive in my opinion. The flute, the strings, everything was perfect performing with @bingorch and @jingqizhu.conductor 🙌 #opera #orchestra #music #art #singer by @therealrobertdakwar

One of the songs that really started it all! Largo al Factotum from Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, performed during the final round of the NATS competition in Ithaca this past weekend, where I was also awarded the honor of first place 🙏🥇! This has been my 6th and final NATS competition in my undergrad, and what better way to end things off! Big thanks to Curt Pajer for collaborating and accompanying this piece with me, to Professor Goodheart for guiding me through all these competitions, and to @binghamtonu ! by @therealrobertdakwar

Last weekend, I had one of the biggest honors of my life, and that was the honor of singing while watching my sister, Lara, walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Giampiero. A wedding that represented both a beautiful blend of cultures and families that travelled all around the globe to be here, I am the proudest little brother in this moment. Love you both @laaaraaaa and @giampmo ❤️ taken in Château de Jallanges by @therealrobertdakwar
