10 years ago when we had our first babies, we also birthed TRM. Blogs were hot, Instagram was just getting started, and we decided it was high time to add a fresh, irreverent voice to the parenting conversation 😎 10 years later, we’re still doing what we do best - challenging the status quo, providing info and resources, improving the modern motherhood experience, and creating a community where we all fit in 🙏

It’s an amazing thought when we really take this in. In fact, it’s more than a thought - it’s actually a fact that compels us to live in the present so that we really can “take it all in”. All the tender loving moments and precious times we get to spend with them. Even the times that left us exhausted, frustrated, angry and overwhelmed. They can often all exist at the same time and as parents we’ve experienced this.

Like life, these moments are often fleeting because they come and go. If we don’t stay present and take it all in, the good, the difficult and challenging, then we will likely miss a part of our child’s day when they were the biggest they’ve ever been and the littlest they will ever be again. For it is in this in-between space, these brief moments where we catch a spark of the past, present and future coming together and if we stay in the moment we’ll get a glimpse of who they are becoming - and this for us, is part of the magic of childhood that we get to witness. We become witness to the unfolding of the life of a human being and what a gift this is!

So let’s remember, as often as possible to be in the moment and take it all in!
