One of the biggest misconceptions about meditation...

is believing that it should immediately make us feel calm.

Often, the opposite happens🙃

When we become still, we begin to notice what was already there 🌪.

The constant thinking.
The underlying tension.
The emotions we haven’t had time to feel.
The restlessness we normally keep busy.

Meditation doesn’t create these experiences.

🌬It simply reveals them.

And for many people, that can feel uncomfortable at first.

💥 This is one of the reasons I love working with breath, movement, and body awareness.

🧿 Not as a replacement for meditation.

🦋 But as a bridge into it.

🦋 A way of meeting ourselves more gently.

🦋 A way of preparing the body and nervous system for stillness.

Because sometimes the doorway to presence isn’t forcing ourselves to sit longer.

Sometimes it’s learning how to arrive first.🤍 by @thereconnectedland

I know this feeling 😓

The days when you're moving from one thing to the next...

The days when you're moving from one thing to the next...

I know this feeling.

The days when you're moving from one thing to the next...

taking care of what needs to be done.

Showing up for everyone.

Holding everything together.

...and somewhere along the way,
you stop checking in with yourself.

I've learned that waiting until exhaustion arrives is not the answer.

The real practice is noticing sooner.

Pausing sooner.
Listening sooner.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from yourself, I created a free practice that may support you.

⚠️ Contraindications

Please avoid or modify this practice if you are:

• Pregnant
• In the first days of menstruation if the body feels sensitive
• Experiencing high blood pressure or serious heart conditions
• Feeling dizzy, highly anxious, or prone to panic attacks
• Recovering from surgery or abdominal conditions

When in doubt, choose long deep breathing instead.

⸻

Breath of Fire is one of the most known and powerful pranayamas in Kundalini Yoga — yet it’s also one of the most misunderstood.

This breath is rhythmic, continuous, and energizing.

The exhale is active, gently and rhythmically pulling the navel in toward the spine… while the inhale happens naturally and effortlessly.

Over time, with practice, the breath begins to find its own rhythm.

✨ HOW TO PRACTICE

• Sit comfortably on a chair or on the ground
• A light cushion under the hips can help lengthen the spine naturally
• Relax the shoulders and soften the face
• Keep the chest relatively relaxed
• Breathe through the nose
• The movement comes from the navel — not the chest

At first, many people unconsciously breathe from the upper chest or create tension in the face and shoulders. This is very common.

With patience, awareness, and consistency…
the body slowly learns a more natural and effortless rhythm.

You can also begin lying down if seated practice feels overwhelming for your nervous system or difficult to coordinate at first.

But this practice is not about force.

It’s about learning how to work with your breath…
your body…
and your own rhythm.

In my Inner Radiance Method and 1:1 sessions, I guide these practices with care, presence, and attention to each person’s nervous system and capacity.

Baby steps 🤍

Shanmukhi Mudra + Bhramari is one of the simplest practices I come back to when my mind feels overstimulated, my body tense, or I simply need to reset.

By gently closing the senses:
– thumbs close the ears
– index fingers rest softly over the eyes
– middle fingers beside the nose
– ring fingers above the lips
– little fingers below the lips

…the nervous system begins to reduce external stimulation and turn inward.

Then comes the breath.

Inhale slowly through the nose for 5 seconds…
and exhale with a soft humming sound.

Try 5 rounds and notice what shifts 🤍

That gentle vibration stimulates the vagus nerve — one of the main communication pathways between the brain, heart, lungs, and nervous system.

The humming supports nitric oxide production for better oxygen uptake, circulation, and regulation in the body.

But beyond all the science…

what I love most about this practice is how quickly it brings me back to myself.

Just breath, vibration, awareness…
and allowing the body to remember calm.

Thanks for being here with me 🙏

During my years of practice, I’ve realized that one of the hardest parts of all this… is not the movement itself.

It’s the mind.

The mind will give you every excuse:
not to do it
not to try
to doubt it
to minimize its effects

And the truth is… most of us live with a very unbalanced mind and nervous system, but it’s so subtle that we don’t even notice it anymore.

We just follow it.

Our impulses, habits, emotional reactions, distractions, patterns…

without realizing how much they shape the way we feel and experience life.

That’s why consistency matters more than intensity.

Not one perfect practice.
Not motivation.

Daily repetition.

Even 5 minutes.

Ideally at the same hour every day… until it becomes natural, like brushing your teeth.

You stop negotiating with the mind.
You just do it.

And honestly… these exercises are so simple that your mind will probably say:

“nahhh… this can’t really do much.”

🤍

Try them for 11 days straight and observe yourself carefully.

Open the legs comfortably wide.
Keep the chest open and lifted.
Inhale through the nose to center.
Exhale through the nose lowering to one side.
Inhale center.
Exhale to the other side.
(3 min)
Tap the whole body.
Good stimulating taps.
Soft on the belly and back of the neck.
Awaken the body.
Stimulate circulation.
(3 min)
Gentle little fists on the kidneys and chest.
And smile 🙂

Simple practices.
Profound effects.

I’ll be sharing more short and powerful practices soon. Stay with me 🤍

There is a difference between reading wisdom…
and embodying it.

These practices are designed to awaken energy, open the heart center, strengthen your presence, and reconnect you with clarity, creativity, and aliveness.

Simple practices.
Powerful effects.

✨ Practice sequence:

1- Aura Eradicator / Aura Charge
1.5–3 min
Breath of Fire

2- Fingers interlaced, thumbs touching
Hands behind the neck / chest open
Breath of Fire

(If you don’t practice Breath of Fire yet, stay with long deep breaths through the nose during all exercises 🤍)

3 - Right hand over left
Pull strongly while inhaling
Hold the breath in
Pump the navel powerfully without air
Exhale through the nose
Repeat 7 rounds

4 - Breath strokes through the mouth
Strong movements from the heart outward
like energetic pulses from the heart center

This practice can feel energizing, emotional, grounding, creative, and deeply awakening.

⚠️ Please avoid strong breathwork practices or consult your doctor first if you are pregnant or have cardiovascular conditions, respiratory challenges, epilepsy, or mental health conditions that could be intensified through intense breathing practices.

Save it • Practice it • Share it 🤍

Some of us are reading wisdom everywhere…
in quotes, books, podcasts, courses…

But it doesn’t change much
if it stays in words
in the mind.

So how do we actually embody it?

By bringing it into your day
into your reactions
into your relationships
into the ordinary moments.

That’s the real work.

Not avoiding discomfort
not chasing constant happiness…

but learning to sit with what is
and seeing it through a different lens.

This practice is not complicated
but it does require two things:

consistency
and awareness

And the truth is…
this didn’t come from thinking differently.

It came through the body.

Through simple practices
that slowly refined my awareness
in a way the mind alone never could.

Something starts to shift…

your perception
your reactions
your inner state

It feels subtle…
but it changes everything.

I’ll be sharing these practices with you soon 🤍

There’s nothing you need to go find out there

but there is a lot you’re not noticing yet

—

This is not something you “understand”

it’s something you train

—

I used to think I was paying attention

until I started practicing awareness

not with my mind

but through my body

—

That’s when things began to change

not outside

but in how I experience everything

—

and that…

changes everything
stay with me

i’ll share a simple practice with you soon

Each one 1–3 minutes

Start with

✨1. shake it all✨

Let the body move freely
no control
no structure

🤯 and when your mind says “that’s enough”…

💪🏼stay a little longer

✨2. Gently tap the lower back
(kidneys area)✨

Breath through the nose
Soft fists
Let it swing

• stimulates adrenal glands (endocrine system)
• helps wake up your energy

✨3. Breath of Joy✨

Inhale through the nose — arms up

Exhale through the NOSE — open the chest, slight back of the head

Inhale through the nose — arms up

Exhale through open mouth AAHHH -
come all the way down (relax neck, soften the knees, engage the core)

💎And at the end…

this is the most important part

✨pause✨

1–3 minutes

💎No movement
💎no judgment
💎no analyzing

💗Just feel💗

Let the body recalibrate

👁️👇🏼

If you feel dizzy — it’s okay
If it feels uncomfortable — it’s okay
If you feel awkward — it’s okay

Stay with it 🙌🏼

Do it daily
and you’ll start to feel
what this simple practice is really doing ❤️‍🔥

Save your practice 🌱

I sometimes think…

yoga classes should have been called
“asana classes”

—

Maybe then
we wouldn’t be so confused
about what yoga really is

—

Because calling yoga just the poses…

is like calling a sequoia
a branch

—

It’s a whole universe to explore

When the body moves
the breath deepens

When the breath deepens
the mind becomes clearer

💎

This is how vitality builds

not in intensity
but in consistency

💎

1.5–3 minutes each movement

💎

1. Hip rotations
•release tension
•massage the gut
•support emotional release

2. Cat–Cow
•supports oxygen flow
•opens the chest & spine
•clears mental fog

3. Spinal twist
•stimulates the organs
•expands the breath
•helps the body release

4. Shoulder shrugs
•release tension
•reset the upper body
•invite a deeper breath

5. Neck rolls
•support the vagus nerve
•soften tension
•help the body relax

Stay with this
