Honoured to receive the Caribbean Heritage Centre Community Spirit Award for Inspiration 2026. 🏆❤️

This award means a lot to me because everything I do comes from wanting to make a positive difference in my community creating opportunities, supporting people, bringing people together and using my skills and platforms to help others be seen and heard.

A massive thank you to the Caribbean Heritage Centre for recognising the work and impact being made. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, collaborated with and believed in me along the journey.
This is more than an award it’s motivation to keep going, keep building and keep giving back. by @thereelmrt_

Can You Save a Moss-Filled Lawn on a Budget? 🌱 | Scarifying, Aerating & Overseeding

Not every lawn needs ripping up and starting again. Sometimes, all it needs is the right process.

Today we’re tackling a lawn that’s been taken over by moss, weeds and compacted soil. Instead of spending hundreds on a complete replacement, we’re showing you how to improve your lawn on a budget using the right techniques and affordable products.

✅ Scarifying to remove moss and thatch
✅ Aerating to improve airflow and drainage
✅ Choosing cost-effective products that actually work
✅ Preparing the lawn for fresh grass seed and healthy growth

At AYS we believe in honest advice and quality workmanship. Whether it’s a full lawn renovation or simply giving your garden the care it deserves, we’re here to help.

In partnership with Petals & Peace, creating outdoor spaces that look good, feel good and last.

Follow the journey as we bring this lawn back to life. The transformation is only just beginning! 🌿

Not everyone will be happy for you when good things happen.

Sometimes you tell someone good news and they go quiet, change the subject, or make a little joke.

That tells you a lot.

Real friends don’t compete with your wins. They clap for you.

Watch who celebrates you when life starts going right.

Should Black people support England?

Some will say yes we’re born here, raised here, this is home.

Others will say it’s hard when Black players are praised when they win, but racially abused when they miss.

So the question is: can you support England and still call out what needs to change?

What do you think?

Life Is Short… Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late ❤️
Sitting here in Greece reflecting, especially today as it’s my mum’s birthday, I’ve been thinking about how precious life really is.

We get so caught up in work, stress, money, problems and chasing the next thing that we sometimes forget the people who matter most. The truth is, life can change in an instant.

Call your parents. Check on your friends. Tell people you love them. Make time for the people who have been there for you. Create memories. Take the trip. Have the conversation.

We’re only guaranteed this moment.

I’ve lost people I thought would be here forever and it’s taught me that tomorrow isn’t promised. We only get one mum, one dad, one life. Appreciate them while you can.

Today I’m grateful. Grateful for another year of my mum’s life, grateful for the lessons, the sacrifices and the love.

Take a moment today to appreciate what and who you have around you. ❤️

Happy Birthday Mum. 🎂🇬🇷
