We want to see people meet Jesus.

I don’t know why you let that happen.

I don’t know what you’re teaching me.

I don’t know when everything will be ok.

But I will trust you anyway.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
You will live in joy and peace.
The mountains and hills will burst into song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands!
Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow.
Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up.
These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name;
they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”

Look up.
Look to Jesus.
Look, and live.

We make things to help start countless conversations about Jesus because we believe that when you look to Him, you find life.

Don’t turn to that thing.

Don’t go there looking for life.

It won’t give it to you. It will only take.

Pick up your Bible.

Look there and see Jesus.

See Jesus and find life.

Drink and be satisfied.

‘Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.’ Romans 8 by @thereissomethingmore

This weekend we beheld Jesus.
What a glorious sight.

Help me to trust you, Jesus.

I can’t see what’s next. I don’t know the way forward.

I just want to do your good, perfect and pleasing will.

I know that you’re with me wherever I go, and that you’re making everything work for my good.

It’s just hard to know what the right thing is to do.

Please speak, Lord. And help me to listen.

And in the waiting, help me know that you are here.

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.’ — Proverbs 3 taken in Porthcothan Bay by @thereissomethingmore

Are you living in your own strength?

Are you trying to hold everything together through your own effort and will?

You won’t be able to do it.

You can’t ever do enough to hold your life together.

You weren’t made to sustain yourself.

Jesus says, “I am the bread of life”.

We have to come to Him.

At the start of every new day we come to Him.

We meet Him in His Word.

We lay our hearts before Him.

We welcome Him in.

We ask Him to move in us, to change us, to heal us, to make us like Himself.

You have to come to Him.

You can’t do it on your own.

Come every day. Come and never be hungry. Come and never thirst.

“Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
