Some of the things I am most proud of were born in seasons I would never have chosen.

@spath_max _ SPath was born after more than 500 rejections taught me how isolating it can feel to build a career without a map.

I do not romanticise hardship. But I refuse to waste what it taught me.

Every difficult season has given me more faith, clarity and intention to build work that helps other people move forward.

Today, my mission is to help ambitious professionals use AI to build careers, businesses and lives that matter.

If you are in an in-between season right now: keep going. It may be the chapter that shapes what you are becoming.

Yesterday at DTX London I was asked what actually stops an AI agent going rogue.

My answer was a badge.

Everyone in that room was wearing one. Speaker. Panellist. Visitor. Nobody argued about it, because we all understood what a badge really is. It is not about who you are. It is about what you are allowed to do, and for how long.

AI agents are no different.

A lot of what people call "the AI messed up" was never the AI. A human handed it access to everything, then acted surprised when it walked into a room it had no business entering.

You cannot give something full access and then be shocked when it goes wrong.

And whatever it produces, you still carry. Not the model. You.

So before you hand an agent the keys: would you give it the admin badge, or a visitor's badge with five minutes to do the one job it was brought in to do?

“How do I use AI if I’m not technical?”

I get this question more than any other, and the honest answer is that you are asking about the wrong thing.

Stop asking which tool to learn. Ask what you repeat every single week.

Then look for the pattern:
Reading to understand -> research
Writing the same thing again -> drafting
Weighing up a decision -> a thinking partner
Remembering what comes next -> tracking

1. Research. If you open 14 tabs and read none of them, AI is a researcher you can question. Every answer should cite where it came from.

2. Drafting. If you rewrite the same email every week, AI writes the first draft and you write the last. Never send the first draft, people can tell.

3. Thinking. If you go round in circles with nobody senior to ask, AI is the colleague available at 11pm. Ask it to argue against you. It advises, you decide. Always.

None of this is technical. It is naming the work, then handing over the part that repeats.

Capacity building is the process of learning how to nurture the things you see yourself having.

Sometimes the dream is not too big.

Sometimes your current systems, habits, discipline and emotional capacity are too small for what you are asking to carry.

That is not shame.
That is information.

Build capacity quietly.

When God is silent, His track record is what you hold on to.

He has never failed before. He was not about to start with me.

And this is the part many people do not understand…

The anointing is not light. It comes with weight.

Look at Gideon…. Look at David….. Look at Joseph.

The moment the anointing came, so did the pressure, the battles, the stretching.

Not because God left them… but because He was preparing them.

That season taught me this:

God already won the victory. But we still have to fight our part.

So if you feel the weight right now, do not run from it.

It might not be punishment. It might be capacity.

And one day you will look back and realise…

It was worth it.
