Ever wanted separate Brightness faders in BEYOND?

Map a fader to Master Brightness and it controls everything. On a rig running audience-scanning lasers alongside high-power lasers, that's the one control you actually want split.

PangoScript addresses brightness at the zone level. Separate faders, separate zones.

Besides high-power and audience-scanning, what other scenarios have you wanting more than one brightness fader?

Comment MIRROR for Early Access. Coming soon, part of the Selection Grid Toolkit.

Nothing in prep takes me longer than getting flown trusses and the ground package lined up in the selection grid.

Arrange one side of the rig. Tap Mirror.
Select the fixtures that make up the other half. Tap Mirror again.

Curious how others are handling this on larger rigs. What's your approach to a full-rig selection?

Set up your Color channels once in BEYOND.
Every cue and effect that references them follows.

No opening 20 laser cues to change the same blue.

Select the shape. Tap the Copy tool. Then select where it goes — Grid or Group, in Setup or out.

Comment ZAXIS for Early Access

Pixel washes, 19 cells each. One phaser. Dimmer stepping across the four lights on the X-Axis, blue climbing up pixels along the Z-Axis. Each attribute is running on its own selection.

Z-Axis (Shared) built the dimmer selection — each fixture's pixels collapsed onto a single cell

Z-Axis (Tower) built the color selection — those pixels stacked up Z

Same phaser. Two different selection grids.

Comment "SGT" to stay in touch and find out when this plugin will be released.

Selecting fixtures in a diagonal is a chore. Reordering the grid by hand takes long enough that most of us don't bother.

Make a selection. Tap the tool. A quick pop-up sets the starting fixture and direction.

Two months from now this will become reality. Custom MIDI controller designed for running lasers.

About six weeks of layout iterations and proposed mappings, a full flip from vertical to horizontal orientation, and now it's going into production with @yaeltex...

Already know exactly what every control does. Patience.

Comment "SGT" for first access.

Rotating a selection order in grandMA3 means you only have 90° increments. This is frustrating. Especially when dealing with a straight line of fixtures and all you want is a diagonal.

Rotate RIGHT 45
Rotate LEFT 45

Make a selection. Tap the tool. Each press rotates the selection another 45° and it works for non-linear selections too.

Still in build. Part of the upcoming Selection Grid Toolkit. Which do you rotate more often, linear selections of fixtures or non-linear?

I'm always updating combined groups in grandMA3 by hand. Every single time! So, I fixed it...

This plugin auto-updates a combined group the moment you change one of its source groups (and vice versa). One move instead of manually making the change in several places.

Maybe it's just me, but DAMN.
Would you use this?
