Trying to find the words to explain the stoke I have to create artwork for this years @naturalselection - !
I’m super thankful for this insane opportunity - thank you @tobygrubb and @travisrice / @naturalselection - I’m so grateful. 🙏🏼
I worked on this painting for 2 months, slowly chipping away at it in my studio, enjoying every moment - I poured every ounce of inspiration I had into this. You get the 1min 30seconds version to enjoy.

While living and working at @hoddeviksurfhouse in Stadlandet, Norway this summer, I got to know PJ (aka @theshallowtree).
Being an artist and surfer, he decided to move to the area years ago. When I met him and got a glimpse of his work, I instantly knew that I wanted make a to portrait of him and his art in my second mini-doc.

Here are some of my favourite frames of „Etching Hoddevik“ - in which PJ takes us into the world of drypoint etching and shows us how it feels to live in one of Norways most remote surfing communities.
