Very excited to finally share some pictures of the project we designed and built for @echo__687 ⭕️🔊

We developed a bespoke sound system tailored to the space, aiming to achieve the highest possible sound quality within the existing architectural conditions. The geometry and coverage patterns were carefully designed around the proportions of the interior, ensuring controlled, even dispersion and a precise listening experience.

The main system consists of two speaker towers positioned on either side of the bar, defining the primary listening area. Four additional filler speakers extend coverage into the table area, creating a consistent sound field throughout the listening bar while maintaining the same tonal character and level of control across the space.

Configuration: 5-way sound system
Top module: 3-way Oblate Spheroid Multi Entry Horn, 90°x 60° Dispersion, 200Hz-20kHz.
Low Mid Module: 15” Sealed Box, 80Hz-200Hz
Sub Module: 18” 4th-Order Bandpass Subwoofer, 27Hz-80Hz
Peak SPL (per cabinet): ~128dB @ 1m
Fillers: 6.5” Coaxial Sealed box, 80Hz-20kHz

[TYLKO SPACE BERLIN]

Earlier this year, we completed an 18-speaker installation across three rooms at the new Tylko Space in Berlin.

Designed and tuned to integrate seamlessly with Tylko’s modular shelving system, this project marks the first public installation of the @tylko speakers.

Super excited to share our latest collaboration with @yyplusplus for JUNGLE STORE in Madrid.

We designed and built a bespoke sound system fully integrated into the spatial language of the interior. Rather than treating audio as an addition, the system was conceived as part of the architectural intervention itself.

The speakers were custom-built for the space, with a strong focus on horn directivity, controlled coverage, and room interaction. Geometry and dispersion were carefully tuned to the proportions of the interior, creating a precise yet intimate listening environment throughout the space.

Configuration: 2-way active speakers, fixed-install
Horn: oblate spheroid waveguide, 1.4” throat
Dispersion: 90° horizontal × 30° vertical

From the beginning, the FFF sound system was meant to be in constant evolution, adjusted, refined and improved over time.

Over the past months we’ve been lucky to see it travel through different rooms, loaded into vans, installed, tuned and reinstalled. The modular structure proving valuable in the process, allowing for efficient deployment, adaptability and clean installation across different contexts.

Also super excited that throughout February you can experience the system at @export_rotterdam, Rotterdam’s newest club 🫶🏻

Huge thanks to everyone who put it to work and gave it space:

The story of the bass horns.

We initially designed the FFF sound system to be used in the basement of our workspace. Last August, we rented it to our friends @lonnyjoco and @capiche.collectiv for their event at @theshorescheveningen, right on the beach. While our bass reflex subs sounded okay outdoors, “okay” isn’t what we build for. So we decided to replace them with bass horns.

After months of prototypes, tweaks, and testing, we’re excited to introduce the FFF Studio Monitors.

Built with the best components and materials, they give you a flat, precise response so you can hear your music exactly as it was meant to sound.

These 3-way monitors feature a dome midrange driver with an ultra-light diaphragm for exceptional transient response and detail. The seamless handoff to the dome tweeter makes vocals and instruments sound natural and present. An 8” woofer in a sealed chamber delivers deep, accurate bass.

Powered by Hypex amplification, the same technology behind our FFF sound system, these monitors are built for accuracy, reliability, and pure musical truth.

Each pair is made to order, with custom finishes and colours available. We build bespoke speakers tailored to you.

We’re open for inquiries now. Perfect for your studio, DJ booth or living room.

Time to retire those old KRKs or Yamahas.

Once again, as every first Monday of the Month, we returned to @operator.radio to broadcast the 5th Episode of our show „WHYDOYOUCARE?“

This time together with Miguel and Florent, creators of the mighty @formfollowsfrequency Sound System. We had a long chat about the Culture it holds, its Importance in Club Culture and many other things from the World we love so much; Good Sounding Music!!
After the Chat we got treated for an Hour of Music that influenced the Development of this Project.

Check the full Episode on SoundCloud or YT.

Much love to the Boys, @operator.radio and all Listeners, it’s an honor to have this platform to share Voices and Experiences. And learn together as one, about what all this dancing and listening is truly about!

After months of design, production, testing, and tuning, we’re proud to share our custom-built sound system with you.

FFF Sound System is a modular, four-way speaker system built for high-fidelity sound, clarity, and adaptability. Designed for club nights, live performances, and critical listening, it delivers consistent sound across diverse spaces.

Interchangeable oblate spheroidal horns provide focused directivity with minimal spill. It features Italian B&C drivers, Hypex Class-D amplifiers, and Baltic birch enclosures framed in BSB aluminium for durability and acoustic integrity.

With removable wheels, stackable modules, and custom room tuning, it’s made for both mobility and permanent installs. Each installation includes room-specific tuning because we believe that great sound is always shaped by the space it lives in.

This has been a real labor of love.

Now available for rental and sale.

Continuing the deep dive into the speaker design, let’s talk about enclosure design, driver selection, and the reasoning behind our choices. Every component had to match our goal: high efficiency, low distortion, controlled directivity, and seamless integration across the frequency range.

Subwoofer (20–80Hz)
We considered a bass horn, but to keep the speaker compact, we opted for a bass-reflex enclosure tuned around 25Hz. This keeps the group delay low, ensuring tight and controlled bass. The @sbaudience NERO-18SW1900D, an 18” driver, delivers deep low-end extension with high output and minimal distortion—ideal for our needs.

Low-Mid (80–250Hz)
Instead of a sealed box, we opted for a bass reflex enclosure tuned around 60Hz, allowing the system to be used without a sub when needed. The @bcspeakers 12PE32, a 12” paper-cone driver, was chosen for its efficiency and wide dispersion, ensuring a natural transition from the subwoofer.

Midrange Horn (250–1,500Hz)
This was a key design element. Since it had to play down to 250Hz, we needed a 10” driver with high sensitivity and excellent midrange clarity. We went with the @bcspeakers 10NSM76, which pairs perfectly with our oblate spheroidal horn for controlled directivity.

High-Frequency Horn (1.5kHz–20kHz)
For treble, we needed a compression driver with a smooth response and minimal distortion. The @bcspeakers DE780TN was the perfect fit—its detailed, clean highs and excellent dispersion work seamlessly with our waveguide to provide consistent sound coverage across the listening area or dancefloor.

Why These Choices?
We prioritized efficiency, directivity, and integration—each driver was chosen to complement the next, ensuring a seamless full-range system. With DSP-based crossovers and phase alignment, we fine-tuned everything for optimal performance.
