CHEERS TO A WOMAN WHO REFUSES TO DIM HER LIGHT! 🖤🐎🔥

Today, I celebrate YOU — your brilliance, your boldness, your unapologetic Blackness, and the powerful way you show up in this world.

From co-creating the Black Equestrian Summer Bash and Giddy Up & Grow to traveling all the way to Jamaica to help others understand the power of horses, you have shown me what it looks like to stand firmly in your purpose.

But beyond the work, I celebrate your LIFE. Thank you for believing in me and supporting my equestrian journey when others chose not to. Your presence, partnership, and willingness to stand beside me have meant more than you know.

I am grateful that our paths crossed, grateful for your mind, your spirit, your courage, and the gift of having you in my life.

May this new year bring you the same boldness, joy, love, abundance, and opportunities that you so freely pour into the world. Keep being brilliant. Keep being bold. Keep being unapologetically YOU!

Happy Birthday! May God continue to bless the woman you are and everything your thoughts think. by @thestandfoundation__

This Friday

Sept 11th from 5PM to Midnight

on Penn Ave East Main Streets Corridor

we outside, for 4 The Love of Soufside: A Griot Trailride experience! 🤠💃🏽

🐎 Come ride with us — from L’Enfant Square SE to the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Ave SE — as we spotlight the living libraries of Soufside.

If you live, work, or play in Ward 7 — DM us to share your 2-minute story or volunteer with us. Your voice could be the next living library.

For the Love of Soufside isn’t just a ride — it’s a homecoming. And just as much a part of who we are — horsemanship and line dancing, two traditions recently brought together, riding and moving as one on this stretch.

📖 Exiting Ridas 🐎
Our current ridas are riding in curator mode — tagged and spotlighted below — helping bring these stories to life.

🛍️ 40+ vendors and counting — Soufside businesses are the heartbeat of this community, and we want the world to know it.

🎟️ FREE RSVP — Drop a 🐎 below and we’ll send you the signup link. RSVP required to win prizes/contests.

🤝Want to help bring it to life? We’re calling for community — sign up to volunteer now. 🔗
Saddle up. 🖤
