Let’s talk about my amazing client, Phyllis...

Before we started working together, Phyllis had been through a few different coaching programs.

Phyllis’s last business coach didn’t even work with her 1:1 to identify where the problem was inside of her business and give her a clear steps on how to boost her revenue.

→ One coach taught her to rely solely on a funnel which eventually stopped working when the leads dried up.
→ Her coaches never even taught her to nurture her community and how to book calls in the DMs.
→ Her coaches never even taught her how to scale her business by building a team without sacrificing a ton of her profit

And all that lead to was Phyllis feeling burnt out and feeling lost in her business.

Phyllis initially came to me after seeing my posts on how you can easily generate leads through paid fitness challenges. She went through my free training on exactly how to do this and by following my framework, she immediately started seeing money come through in her business!

So no, the funnel isn't the problem.

If your leads keep saying "I can't afford you," it's one of 3 things:

1️⃣ Targeting: your content isn't teaching Meta who to find
2️⃣ Positioning: your ad isn't speaking to people who already invest in solving this problem
3️⃣ Pitch: your path to the call isn't qualifying them first

THE STEPS HERE ⬇️

Aight sis, get your notepad ready and SIT YA @$$ DOWN because I'm going to put you on some game. 🏈

A funnel isn’t just a landing page + a few automated emails + hoping someone eventually buys.

Here’s what I actually build (and how you can do the same!!)

STEP 1: Start with an offer people already want.

Before I touch the funnel, I get ridiculously clear on WHO we’re selling to, the problem they’re actively trying to solve, and the specific result we’re promising.

A funnel cannot fix an offer nobody wants. (PROVE that people want it first! Or learn how to create an offer that CONVERTS)

STEP 2: Create the reason someone raises their hand.

Instead of sending cold traffic straight to “buy my $2,000 offer,” we give them an easy first step.

A webinar. A challenge. A quiz. A low ticket offer. A VSL.

Something that makes the RIGHT person say, “Wait, I need this.”

STEP 3: Build the path from interested → buyer.

This is where most funnels fall apart. They collect the lead and immediately dump them into an email sequence and let their leads die there BUT I’m thinking about what happens AFTER they opt in.

What do they need to believe?
What objections need to be answered?
What buying signals are they giving us?
Where does a real conversation need to happen?

STEP 4: Drive enough qualified traffic through it.

You cannot decide a funnel “doesn’t work” after 47 people see it.
We create content and traffic strategies that consistently put the funnel in front of more of the RIGHT people.

STEP 5: Watch what people actually do + optimize.

Where are they dropping off? What are they clicking? Who is raising their hand but not buying?
Where are we losing qualified leads?

That data tells us exactly what needs to change.

Because the goal isn’t to build a prettier funnel.

The goal is to build a client acquisition system that consistently moves strangers → leads → conversations → paying clients.

I remember looking down at the pregnancy test and seeing...

“Pregnant.”

My first thought was literally, “Oh shit.”

I had just left the home and partner I manifested.

Just days before, I packed my things and drove from Denver to Atlanta to figure out where I wanted to live next because I no longer felt safe in my home.

But just then, I no longer could just think about me...

How the hell was I going to run a business AND take care of a baby?

Should I go back to a 9-5 so I had something more “stable”?

Should I drive my happy tail back to Denver because having two parents under one roof felt safer than doing this alone?

Could I actually build the business I wanted AND be the kind of mom I wanted to be?

Every possible scenario ran through my head.

But I’ve also always been the girl who eventually says, “F*ck it. I’ll figure it out.”

And did!

Because there have been so many versions of me behind this business.

The version of me who was still a federal agent trying to figure out how to make money online because I wanted to pay for my travels. (hello, Catch Flights + Fitness, if you remember those days. 😉)

The version who worked a full time job AND built a business on the side, saying yes to basically everything because I was terrified the opportunities would stop coming.

The version who finally left the security of a “real job” and bet on herself.

The version who thought success meant working more, growing faster, and constantly chasing the next milestone.

Then there was the version of me staring at that pregnancy test wondering if everything I had built was about to become impossible.

How to find the PERFECT funnel for YOU ⬇️ 🫵🏾

The internet LOVES to tell you the reason you’re not making more money is because you haven’t used THEIR funnel yet.

Meanwhile, I’ve made money from webinars, challenges, book a call funnels, quizzes, low ticket offers and about 47 different experiments in between 😂

There is no funnel that magically works better for every business.

The best system is the one that can consistently bring the right people into your world, move them toward buying AND actually fit the way you want to run your business.

Because getting 20 sales calls from a webinar isn’t a flex if you only have room for 5 on your calendar.

Building a live launch strategy makes zero sense if you absolutely hate going live.

And copying someone’s $100K funnel because you saw the Stripe screenshot on Instagram doesn’t mean it makes sense for your offer, audience or capacity.

Sometimes you need a webinar.

Sometimes you need a VSL, challenge, quiz or low ticket offer.

And sometimes you need to stop f*cking touching the funnel that is already working and SCALE IT 😂

Your client attraction system should be built around your offer, how you like to sell, how much you can actually fulfill and the life you want your business to support.

Not whatever funnel happens to be sexy on Instagram this week.

Because...NEWSFLASH...They all work, sis!

I was posting every day, building a community, showing up consistently and still living client to client.

For 13 years, I was a special agent with Homeland Security Investigations.

Traveling every month. Doing the work that most people couldn't see.

And on the side? I was building businesses. Fitness challenges. A community that grew to 5k+ members. I was featured on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC. I was showing up.

But here's what nobody talks about —

Showing up doesn't pay the bills on autopilot.

I wasn't going to keep trading hours for clients while also working a demanding federal job and raising a kid solo. That wasn't sustainable. That wasn't freedom. That was just... a second job with extra steps.

So I got intentional. I stopped trying to post my way to consistent income and started building a system that attracted clients whether I was in the air, on an investigation, or asleep.

$400 in ads. A foundation I had already built. A $15K first month.

And later? That same system funded my entire maternity leave.

Not because I hushed and grinded. Because I got the ORDER right.

Most coaches spend hours a day posting content — or worse, jump straight to ads — before they have three things locked in:

✅ A high-ticket offer that's clear enough for the right person to immediately say "that's for me"
✅ Content that actually converts — not just content that gets likes
✅ A proven sales process that closes without you chasing

Ads don't create clients. Ads amplify what's already working.

If you run ads before those three things are in place, you're not scaling. You're just spending money faster on a system that wasn't working in the first place.

I know because I've been on both sides of this. I built the foundation first — and then the ads did exactly what they're supposed to do.
