Congratulations to the marvellous @maryodonnell03 on the launch of her new novel, Sweep the Cobwebs off the Sky, published last month by @epoque_press 💐

I made it finally to the fair late this afternoon, just in time to meet Amy O’Sullivan, one of the brilliant editors of @paperlanterns_lit who’d just picked up a copy of The Storms, issue IV, our bumper Dublin issue, perfect for that Xmas gift 🎁

Huge congratulations to all the literary journals on the Irish scene today. The scenery is all the more luminous because of it 🎉🎉

What a beautiful publication to be part of! The Storms Issue V, with its gorgeous cover art by @malquinn13 is an absolute treat. Thank you to @damiboy & @rhona_greene for including one of my poems! The front cover of The Storms Issue V with cover art from Brian Malachy Quinn, an image of a human face emerging from a tree, secured by green vines. The magazine is held up against a teal and grey coloured wall by a hand. by @thestormsjournal

Coming tomorrow,
our 2025 Pushcart Prize nominations ✨✨✨✨✨✨

After endless heartbreaking weeks this summer, bringing the submissions down to 89, @rhona_greene and myself wanted to nominate all 89 as they are all truly worthy and remarkable! And I include in that all our visual artists too!

Tomorrow, we will toast 6 while celebrating our 89 and giving them all our gratitude for trusting us with their creations- it’s been an honour 💙 by @thestormsjournal

The beautiful slick magazine, The Storms, from Dublin arrived. They paid very well for the use of images of two of my paintings. Thank goodness for organizations that support the arts. #elpasoartist taken in El Paso, Texas by @thestormsjournal
