The wait is over… ✨

After months in the making, I’m so excited to finally share the news.

Seeing my business included alongside one of Boston’s premier hotels is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of. Every celebration I’ve had the privilege to design, every referral, and every client who trusted my vision helped make this moment possible.

A year ago today I was at Rockefeller Center to support my Ls in Delta Sigma Theta Sonority, Inc.♥️ 🔺.
We went from the back of line blocks away to somehow up front on tv asking The Cheryl Crow a question. Wow!

I said 7 years survivor, Wrong !
I guess I stopped counting, missed a couple of years
Went from survivor to Thriver
It’s been 10 years as a breast cancer survivor.
Ten years!💗smh I blame menopause brain lol

Here’s to the survivors, the thrivers, those still fighting, and the loved ones we carry with us.

Happy Anniversary to my beautiful sister and brother-in-love. 🤍

Looking through these pictures has me thinking about just how much has come from this union.

From doing her birthday parties when she was growing up to helping her say yes to the dress, my sister has probably been one of my longest-standing unpaid clients. 😂 She has always let me do what I do.

But somewhere along the way, the roles shifted a little. She became one of the people encouraging me. She encouraged me to take my talent seriously, to see it as something worth sharing, and ultimately to turn it into a business.

And now here we are.

This beautiful union has birthed three new beginnings — Roman, RLC Events, and The Styled Balloon. ❤️

There is something really special about being able to look back at where we started and see where life has taken us. I’m so proud of my sister, the wife and mother she has become, the business she has built, and the life they are creating together.

And I’m forever grateful that while I was busy believing in her, she was believing in me too.

TOUGH CHOICES ❤️

When your business lives on weekends, sometimes you have to choose:

Create the WOW for the guests
or be a guest that’s wowed!

It’s a hard decision to choose self.
No prepping or setups, no location walk throughs, design consultations, or invoicing etc etc.

This weekend, I chose me. ❤️

Building a business isn’t always about the Chi Ching, Sometimes it’s the whistle blowing at your self care goal accomplished!

People always ask me, “When do you have time to do balloons?” 😂

Well… this particular night, I made the balloons, got dressed and went to see Joe, came back, loaded everything up, and made a midnight drop-off for a graduation setup the next morning.

No traffic at midnight definitely helped. 😂

But when a client really wants your work — and there’s a graduate to celebrate — you figure it out.

The next morning, it all came together. 🎈

And now that graduate is officially off to college. ❤️
