Sometimes I find myself looking at moments like this and realizing… I’ll never get this exact moment back. 🖤

One day, he won’t need me to do his hair. One day, those little hands will be bigger, his voice will be deeper, and he’ll be on his own journey becoming the man he’s meant to be.

So I’m learning to slow down and cherish it all. The laughter, the conversations, the little routines, even the moments that seem so ordinary. Because these are the moments I’ll wish I could relive someday.

I don’t ever want to take being his father for granted. My son is the air I breathe, a piece of my heart walking outside of my body, and one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever been given.

Our connection is something I’ll protect, nurture, and carry with me forever. I pray that as he grows, he always knows how deeply he is loved, how proud I am of him, and that no matter how old he gets, he’ll always have his pops

I love you with everything in me, son. And if I could ask for anything, it would be to slow time down just a little. 🥹🖤

To my fathers out there especially the new ones SLOW DOWN AND CHERISH THE LITTLE MOMENTS 🙏🏾

Being a father is one of the greatest honors a man can have.

Everybody has an opinion about what a “good father” should be. When I first found out I was going to be a dad, I wasn’t scared. I trusted myself. I believed I could provide, protect, and do whatever it took for my son.

But the moment he got here… everything changed.

The fear hit me like a ton of bricks. Every “what if” imaginable started running through my mind. Am I doing enough? Am I making the right decisions? I realized that every choice I make has the potential to shape the man my son will become. I stopped living just for the moment and started thinking about the future.

Three years into fatherhood, I’ve learned something important:

There is no manual for this.

You’re writing the book as you go.

Some chapters will be beautiful. Some will be messy. There will be mistakes, lessons, victories, and moments that test everything you thought you knew. That’s all part of becoming the father your child needs.

To every new dad out there—give yourself grace. You won’t have it all figured out, and some days the weight will feel heavy. But don’t let that weight break you. Let it fuel you. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep showing up.

Our children don’t need perfect fathers. They need present ones.

Happy Father’s Day to every father around the world. Keep leading with love. 👑❤️ by @thestylegod_
