I'm struggling to decide how I want to wear my ring stack. Since our 10 year wedding anniversary last month, I've worn the rose gold Metro eternity ring on the outside of my Tiffany Setting with my Lucida wedding band remaining in it's original placement.

My original choice with the Tiffany Setting in the middle. Two reasons:

1. The Metro ring itself is a quarter size larger than my Tiffany Setting and Lucida wedding band so one good reason to wear it on the outside, that's where the finger is a bit thicker.

2. I always loved the look of my 1.5mm Lucida wedding band being covered when looking from above by the diamond in my Tiffany Setting. If that makes sense? I feel like it makes my diamond look larger than it is. However, with the Metro between the two rings, the diamond in my Tiffany Setting no longer covers both bands stacked. (No, I'm not upgrading my engagement ring ever) It then fully covers the Metro but only partially the Lucida...

Swipe right to see comparison! 💍

Thoughts?

I have big news to share! Say hello to my 10 year wedding anniversary Tiffany rose gold Metro diamond eternity ring! 💎👰‍♂️🤵‍♂️💎

I've been so excited about this and could hardly wait for this special day to arrive! I love how the Metro ring is also 1.5mm wide like my Tiffany Lucida half eternity wedding band. And I'm obsessed over the mixed metals and how the rose gold band matches my skin tone. The diamonds kind of look like they are just floating on my hand! 🩵

I know I promised to post more here. But since we got our new puppy at the end of June, she has kept me very busy!

I'd love to take photos of her with my ring but not yet. She is too young and I worry she will swallow it! 😂 Here is a video in the classic Tiffany ring box. I'm still partial to this box than the new ring box. I love both. But something about this box shows the diamond sooooooo well!

I was recently asked how I keep my Tiffany Setting so mirror shine perfect without a patina. Well, some people like a patina, I'm not one of them.

Years ago I had a decent scratch on my ring and sent it off to Tiffany's. I wasn't happy with the result when it came back. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I use a rotary tool and special polishing burrs specifically made for jewlers. I trust myself doing this because I'm an artist, a Graphic Designer is my profession, I paint, I even Shellac my own nails which is supposed to be done at a salon. I have a precision touch. I don't advise anyone just try this because it can be severely damaging if you don't know what you're doing. If you've got the magic touch like me, then I'd say go for it!

The only time my ring goes in to Tiffany now is when something major happens like last fall with a dent in a prong which I don't have the means to fix.

And no, platinum is NOT removed when polishing if any, not much at all. You will see silver material on the burrs but that is from the polishing process.

Hope this helps! xoxo

I had just taken a quick photo for my friend @cosimodaniela and my phone snapped a pretty amazing shot, I had to share! Usually my phone doesn't seem to take good ring photos. Loving this one! 🥰

A photo from a previous Christmas but still a good one. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!!

I plan to start taking more photos of my ring since it has been reset. The knife edge looks a bit thinner now. As you all know, the Christmas season has been keeping me busy. More NEW photos to come in the new year!
