Late in 2021, I finished my second short film titled Pass on the Band. I’ve always been proud of that achievement for many reasons, including that this was my second project completed without any real filmmaking education/training. Also, it opened doors, most significantly the one that led to my MA Filmmaking (Editing) at Goldsmiths UoL.

At the same time, a mistake made on set which had to remain on the final cut caused me some embarrassment, meaning I became reluctant to share my work as a filmmaker should. It didn’t get a proper festival run & I’ve had it privately published on YouTube for years. With growth, I’ve come to realise I’ve been silly & perfectionism shouldn’t be allowed to ruin a good thing.

You can now watch Pass on the Band (2021) on my YouTube channel. Link in my bio. Please hit the like button & leave a comment about how amazing it is even before you finish it. Also share the link with someone. Thank you!
