Me and the big sis did a thing💃🏽
This has been on my “Do it/living list” for the longessttttt time. I’ve been following this class since Stepper-Ton started and I’ve loved seeing the come up. So so glad I’ve got to ✅ it off my list and actually glad we got dragged in to the middle to do it otherwise I wouldn’t have this footage lol. God knows I even hate the mirrors in any workout class and the back behind everyone is my fave spot 🫠😂🤦🏽‍♀️

I love a podcast, so thought I would share some of what I’m currently listening to.

Generally I like an easy listen, I love a motivational podcast but also I’m a big fan of self help and self improvement. I live by my dad’s motto “each one teach one”.

Whether you have just started on your journey, in the thick of it or it’s just an idea. Here is some Unqualified advice I think we should talk about

1. You will rethink your life choices. More.Than.Once.

2. Don’t expect all of your friends to cheer you on. They won’t. But that’s on them, don’t focus on the fact your friend didn’t repost you, recommend you or invest in you. The strangers you’ve never met, who owe you nothing but genuinely love what you do will carry you!

3. You may get amazing ideas at 2am. Please wait until a respectable hour to make decisions

4. It’s not personal even though it may feel like it. If sales or numbers are low it isn’t a personal attack (I’m still struggling with this!)

5. Don’t just say yes to everything that comes your way. It can be worrying not having a guaranteed regular income, but not all money is good money. Value yourself and your time & remember why you started.

6. Bet on yourself, shout about what you do and promote!! It’s not cringe it’s crucial!

7. You will do it ALL! Get ready to up skill. Social media, marketing, admin and everything in-between
I quit my job, I decided to bet I myself and there is a lot I’m learning as I go.

Nope, I’m not running — or even walking — every day.

Nope, I haven’t quit full-fat Coke 😂

But over the last year, I HAVE made a lot of changes.

I’ve shared some of them on here (definitely not all 👀), partly because I hope it encourages someone else, but also because I want somewhere to document my own journey — the trying, changing, growing and working-it-out-as-I-go bits.

I haven’t got a master plan.

I’m just getting better at saying YES and working out the rest later. ✌🏽

So hopefully a few more of you will stick around and figure it out with me.

We’ll see where it takes us…
