Usual speculation has started already that this will be 'the year' that Rolex discontinues the Hulk. What do people think - 👍 or 👎? And what do you think might happen if they do? I'm not so sure prices will go up like many expect - at least not at first - which would be new territory for a Rolex steel sports watch to say the least. Thoughts?

Is The Rolex Smurf A Good Buy Right Now? That's what we're talking about on The Watch Lounge Journal this week.

Hard to believe you can still get a Rolex Submariner for below retail. And in solid 18k white gold too! But with Baselworld coming up and rumours swirling about a possible discontinuation, interest in the Rolex Smurf is starting to heat up.

We have an unworn example in the Shop right now for about 15% below retail but have definitely been seeing the interest - and price - steadily rising on these.
