"I know many of us will be getting a new year consultation done. Some do it in January, some do in June during yoruba new year calendar while some of us do both. Please, whatever messages are revealed to you during this consultation, don't disregard any of it. Some might sound awkward, off-key, meaningless and not related to you at that present time but believe me, you are gonna need it later. Every message will be very important so take them serious. I would advise you plead with your Baba/Iya to send you a voice recording or written notes, or you record the phone call conversation while they deliver the new year message to you. This year wasn’t bad for me at all. At the beginning of it, I had gotten a consultation and Ebo done. Through the consultation, I knew what to expect. I knew what to do I knew how to go about it. Nothing caught me unguarded. I was fully aware of it all even before it happened. The blessings which are too numerous to mention. The disappointments, failures, setbacks, sadness. Loss and all other negativities that visited are as expected and I’m so proud of the way I handled them all, ofcourse with the help of Ifa and the support of my Egungun including all the Irunmole/Orisa. Next year I’m expecting more challenges because the bigger the challenges, the more bigger the wins. I pray for more wisdom to handle them appropriately with the help of Ebo and Akunlebo. Please and please, there’s no rushing in getting initiated to Ifa. You can’t initiate yourself into Ifa, you need Oluwo/Baba Awo, So whoever that is going to be, please be sure he’s the ONE! Is he the type who is never available? The one who tells you that you shouldn’t question anything? The one that never seems to reply ? Getting initiated is as important as getting the right person to initiate you. Don’t just receive something you have no idea of what to do with it. You should be able to throw Obi, orogbo, recite verse for Obi, Oti, epo, and other little things like that. Ifa is a personal journey but you need someone to show you the way as you walk through it and when you reach a crossroad, someone who will point you to the right direction. On many occasions, people have shown displeasure and claiming that this kind of Igba Kori is uncalled for. Let me start by saying, there’s nothing wrong in including plastic dummies inside the Korikoto calabash of display. Kori is known as one aspect of Egbe that supports and takes care of kids. Kori is the defender of children and the giver of their wants. The big container in the lady’s head will contains stuffs like beautiful beads, cloths, dolls, and every other things that kids will find attract and love to have. some people even add eatables to it. Wether we like it or not, plastic dolls are part of what kids in today’s world find attractive. We can say wooden dolls should also be included but nothing wrong when plastic dolls are also there. Egbe Orisa Kori is after the well-being of kids in particular. Not just kids in the olden days who played with wooden dolls but also kids in this present time who also love the plastic dolls. There’s one thing about Egbe that I can’t always get enough of. You see this woman, Iyalorisa Oyelola Elebuibon , she’s one of the best when it comes to Orisa. I spent a lot of hours with her today. She shared a lot of information with me freely without expecting nothing in return. She’s a legend!!! This is Oriki Egbe Olori ko also called Eleeko. So my birthday is Sept 6. I do not celebrate birthday so it’s going to be a normal day for me. I request just one gift from you that day and I hope it won’t be too much for you to do. On that day, please help me give out foodstuffs to one family on my behalf and if you are capable of giving to more than one family please do. You will be surprised that a lot of family find it hard to feed for a day due to the hardship in the world right now.
