Love, Mychal & Emily by @thewovenspectrum

If you’ve spent years being told your symptoms don’t add up to one diagnosis, this research might change that conversation.
Dr. Allison Bloom and her team have proposed a name for a severe neurological subgroup within hEDS/HSD: “Neuro-EDS,” one connective tissue pattern showing up as both cranial/spinal issues and neuro-autonomic/inflammatory dysfunction, instead of a pile of unrelated diagnoses.
Commonly seen alongside it: POTS, dysautonomia, MCAS, exercise intolerance, GI issues, chronic pain, brain fog, and fatigue. (Also common in the wider EDS community, separate from this paper: autism, ADHD, and queer/gender-diverse identities, sources on slide 4.)
This paper is currently under peer review, not yet a formal diagnosis, but naming a pattern is often the first step toward better recognition and care.
If this sounds like your story: you’re not alone, and you’re not imagining it.

We offer:

Education: Evidence based information to help you connect the dots for yourself and communicate them to your healthcare team, family members and any one else in your support circle.

Lifestyle Management: Personalized plans to manage your symptoms using diet, supplements, sleep, movement, herbs and OTC meds. We can help organize the interventions you are already trying and suggest new ones. Then we help you track what’s working and what’s not!

Care Coordination: Meds and labs are part of chronic illness care but providers do not always have the time and information to treat multi systemic symptoms. We can be a bridge to getting the best out of your healthcare provider whether you have access to a specialist, your PCP or online prescribing clinics. by @thewovenspectrum
