I had a gigantic wave of inspiration hit me over the past week or so. I wrote out the story for a feature film and now, with some positive feedback, I'm working on the first draft of the screenplay. I believe this is a film I can very feasibly get made, and quickly at that.

"while we're on the way to there", written & directed by & starring @zachbmarsh. coming...soon.

On #CanFilmDay, I'm gonna celebrate my own short film, (yeah I'm biased!) #ATalkInThePark. We made this in Toronto, it had its world premiere in Toronto last month, and I could not have made any of it happen without the wickedly talented Canadian cast and crew I had lifting it up all the way along.

If any Canadian filmmakers out there want to give A TALK IN THE PARK a sneak peek on this #CanFilmDay - it's having a YouTube premiere later this year - shoot me a message. I'd love to connect. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @thezachmarsh

A few shots from my ultimate highlight from #TIFF '26: getting to perform "I'm Just Ken" by Ryan Gosling and @iammarkronson from @barbie at one of my favourite places in the world, the @bovinesexclub (for those not in the know, there are neither cows nor intercourse to be found).

Thank you so much to @fantasiafestival for having me, @hotbreath for hosting, and the literal King @bykingdawit for giving me the idea to do this and just fuckin' go for it. Best night of TIFF ever and I wouldn't change a thing. This song means a lot to me from a movie that means even more, and I had the best people to belt it to.

Look at that mosaic of roles. Tim Curry was one of the masters of the craft of acting.

I've had to post too many of these lately. by @thezachmarsh

@dollyparton was the absolute best of us. There was not a thing this woman could do out of step. One of the greatest songwriters and country musicians the world ever saw. Tremendous and charismatic actress. As beautiful as beautiful gets. And, most of all, a tireless crusader for good even when it was unpopular. Dolly was loud for civil rights before most of her peers. Dolly was an advocate for trans rights and trans lives no matter how many so-called fans it lost her. Right 'til the end she never stopped working and never stopped fighting. As someone who couldn't write a song quickly to save his life, it will forever blow my mind that she wrote Jolene and I Will Always Love You in the same night. I admired and loved Dolly Parton and I still do and I will forever. taken in Pittman Center, Tennessee by @thezachmarsh

I tried to write something longer last night about the little girl I grew up watching in so many things who was so kind, so radiant, and so bursting at the seams with talent...and then I saw a clip of that same little girl singing her heart out for a world that actively did wrong by her at every turn despite the kindness and despite the radiance, and it broke me. I became and remain far too heartbroken to talk about TIGER CRUISE or REMEMBER THE TITANS or SCREAM. I shouldn't care more about Hayden Panettiere than the people who were supposed to care the most did, and the fact that I do makes me really angry. by @thezachmarsh

Tonight, this man just became the most important, consequential, and pivotal politician in the Western world.

From the other side of the Michigan border I salute @abdulelsayed for his primary victory and eagerly await his election to the U.S. Senate this November. Down with do-nothing centrism and down with Israel's unceasing interference with policy and elections on this side of the ocean! Tonight in Michigan both were sent packing! by @thezachmarsh
