Exploring the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Once the largest cathedral in the country, these incredible ruins date back to the 1100s. And apparently, they come with a few ghosts of their own.

The one we couldn’t get out of our minds? The White Lady… For generations, people have reported seeing a woman dressed in white wandering the cathedral grounds.

Legend says stonemasons once discovered a sealed chamber containing coffins, including one holding a young woman whose body was remarkably preserved… still wearing white gloves.

History, mystery, a little haunting and a LOT of girl time. Basically our perfect day. 🥀 but what do you think of the tombs?!

📍 The Ropes Mansion in Salem, Massachusetts. Stomping into our season like… 👻 🍂 🎃

Most people know this house as Allison’s house in Hocus Pocus, but did you know it’s reported to have 3 ghosts as well? She’s haunted AF!

Three spirits are said to linger here. Abigail Ropes has reportedly been seen in the windows and her screams have been heard. Judge Nathaniel Ropes is said to appear seated on his old front hall couch. Gardener Andy Bye is associated with reports of strange touches and whispers in the garden.

And then there are the fires. Abigail died after her clothing caught fire, and the mansion has suffered multiple fires since. Coincidence?

At the Witchery in Salem, @thewitcherysalem we had so much fun creating these brooms together.
From the types of broom handles and their meanings, to the charms we added at the final step, everything we chose had a special meaning and individual to our preferences.
It was a really nice way to chill out and create with your girls (or witches). It felt like pure coven time and there’s something very magical being able to make something in Salem to being home with you.
