On the morning of May 30, 2021 I was 39w4d and I knew it was finally the day I would meet my boys.

I had been in early labor for 4 whole days. Contractions had been 10-15 minutes apart. I kept thinking it was picking up then it would slow down again. I was growing impatient and not sleeping as much as I should have been but I was also very zen the whole time. I felt divine protection all around me. No fear existed.

I had two midwives and one assistant midwife at the birth but they were all completely hands off other than an occasional check in. That morning I ate a huge breakfast and went for a walk. My contractions were on another level and deepening quickly so I texted my midwives and they arrived an hour later. By then I was in la la land. Waves washing over me and requiring all of my concentration. It was extremely intense but I felt no pain.

I’d have to say I agree.
How is my baby girl 13 already???😭🥹

There just aren’t words for the way I love this girl.
I don’t know what I did to deserve her but thank you God for letting her be my daughter.

Having a front seat to her life has been the greatest gift and honor I’ve ever known. She is a force of good. Hilarious. So smart. So kind. Thoughtful. Generous. I could go on and on. She made me a mother, but in so many ways she saved my life by showing me a love that knows no limits. I thank God every single day for her life.

Recently I actually asked her to help me pray for her little siblings and she responded very matter of factly that she does that all the time. She went on to tell me that she goes to their door when they’re sleeping, puts her hands on their bedroom door, and prays over them. Instant floodgates for this mama.😭 Here I thought I had a revolutionary idea but she was already two steps ahead of me.

This girl came here with a fire in her heart and so far she’s blazed a massive trail of love everywhere she goes.

Happy 13th birthday to my beautiful first born baby girl and the best big sis there is.

I got into network marketing because I wanted to be home with my kids. And because I believed I could help families make better choices about what they were bringing into their homes.

For years, I thought the goal was simple: eliminate the bad stuff.

Avoid the questionable ingredients. Look for cleaner labels. Reduce unnecessary exposures.

And I still believe those things matter.

But what I’ve learned since joining Olive Tree People has completely expanded the way I think about skincare.

Because here’s the question I wasn’t asking:

What is this product actually GIVING my skin?

A product can be tested for contaminants and still tell you very little about its ability to support your skin.

What’s in the formula? How is it processed? Are the beneficial ingredients stable? Is it designed to work on a cellular level?

Those questions matter, too.

And discovering a different approach to formulation has been one of the biggest aha moments of my entire journey.

I started this business wanting to help women make cleaner choices.

Now I want to help women ask BETTER questions and show them how amazing their skin can look without compromise.

Because to me, skincare isn’t just about what we eliminate.

It’s also about what we intentionally give back. 🫒
Our bodies need nourishment, not just a lack of toxins.

And THAT is the conversation I wish I was having years ago.

If WATER is the first ingredient in your skincare, we need to talk. ✌️

Because WHY are we paying premium prices for products that are mostly water?

💧 SUSTAINABILITY? We’re packaging, shipping, and paying to transport water around the world. Doesn’t make sense.

💧 POTENCY? Water isn’t the powerhouse ingredient delivering the skin-transforming benefits you’re paying for. So why is it taking up the most space in the formula?

💧 VALUE? You’re paying luxury prices for a formula whose biggest ingredient costs pennies.

And here’s what really gets me…

Water-based formulas often require additional preservatives, emulsifiers, and pH adjusters just to keep everything stable. More ingredients, more formulation complexity, and potentially more opportunities for irritation and inflammation.

So we’re paying MORE for LESS of what we actually want?

Who’s getting the better deal here? Because I’m pretty sure it’s not the consumer.

And before someone confuses expensive with effective, those are NOT the same thing.

I’m 40. ZERO med spa visits. And I love my skin more than I EVER have.

I’m not interested in paying premium prices for watered-down promises.

Give me concentrated, effective skincare that actually earns its price tag.

Less filler. More function. Better skin. Clean, organic ingredients.

That’s the standard over here.
