Ending off a rather cruddy week with a fun artist support post(with a twist!)💃🎉💖 . Here’s how it works: 1) Comment three words that I can use as the prompts. They can be anything - objects, emojis, a mood, food, fav book/movie/song, adjective… you name it! It just has to be something that I can Google to get the feeling of. 2) Tag up to 3 art accounts you’d like me to check out, I’ll do my best to visit each suggestion and leave a comment to boost their engagement! 3) Every Friday I’ll pick a prompt combo from the comments on this post and create a drawing from them. The account from the comment chosen for that week will be featured and tagged in the second slide of that post. In the Instagram world where engagement is key, let’s support each other and be each other’s fans! . I don’t follow-for-follow, but I will absolutely do my best to engagement-for-engagement😅🤩 Have fun and go wild with those prompts, friends! . . . #featurefanfridaycollection #artistsupport #artistssupportartists #artistssupportartists #artistssupport #artistssupportingartist #artistsupportpost #artistsupportingartist #artistsupportingartists #drawingchallenge #promptchallenge #whattheprompt #promptideas #imyourbiggestfan #procreate #procreateartist #digitalstrategy #drawdaily #artistsunder2k #artistsunder1k by @this.is_pluto

Another way I like to join drawing challenges is to join them a day late(preferably a couple of hours after the host has wrapped up the deadline🤭) Ahh, just kidding😅 The truth is, I am just slowly learning to love creating art in a calmer and more relaxing manner, and in doing so I unfortunately happen to miss *all* the deadlines. But that’s the joy of personal creativity when it isn’t tied to your income, why rush it(and in doing so, feel unsatisfied with the end results)? @nina.clausonet , thank you so much for hosting this beautiful dtiys, I so enjoyed taking part💖 I hope you like this version lovely💖🦊✨🫶 . . . . #dtiysdrawing #drawthisinyourownstyle #dtiysentry #cutefox #foxillustration #pinkfox #sunmoonstars #pinkcolours #dtiysninaclausonet #femaledigitalnomads #womenwhocreateart #womenwhodrawdaily by @this.is_pluto

Not me casually joining a drawing challenge from back in the days before the great isolation(you know, the one that hit us all like a raisin in what we thought was a chocolate chip cookie). . So this is what I was meaning when I said I was going to only draw what I felt like. ☺️🥹Drawing, not because it's popular or trending, but because it was so pretty that I knew I had to draw it🥹 . Hosted by @aureliengalvan #aureliengalvan4k I'll post the static version tomorrow with all the extra visual details etc . I hope all you lovely ones are doing alright💖 . . . . . #dtiyschallenges #drawthisinyourownstyle #dtiysentry #ipadprocreatedrawing #femaledigitalartist #markerartwork #markerartists #fantasyfashion #fantasycharacterdesign #fantasygirl #pastelcolourpalette #womenwhodrawwomen by @this.is_pluto

I've finally figured out a way to do it! This burnout recipe worked in less than a week, and honestly, I am blown away. Keep in mind though, points 3 and 4 are the real game changers, we just recently added those ones to our schedule and the results were almost immediate! Here’s how I did it: 1) Poor sleep. This factor is definitely more of a gradual effect, but still a very important one. Pets, offspring, work deadlines and insomnia are all great options. Even better if you combine them all! 2) Mental stuff. Adhd is a great starting point, but honestly anything will do. This particular point compliments and works very well with the poor sleep factor as it adds quite nicely to the mental-drain effect already occurring from point 1. 3) Health hiccups. Try to combine as many family members as possible. Two seemed to be the sweet spot for us, but more will accelerate the process for sure. 4) Over-full schedule. The more you have to fit onto your plate, the better and faster the burnout results will be. Typically the results are better if the things being added to your schedule are out of your control(for example: point 3). If, however, your schedule remains manageable, don’t be afraid to say yes to more so that it can get nice and chaotic! 5) Freelancing. This is where points 3 and 4 will really come into your favour! Who has time for reaching deadlines calmly when you can unexpectedly leave the office during a round of feedback? Not me! Make sure to work extra late into the wee hours so your immune system can be extra (un)prepared for point 3. . And there you have it loves! Super simple and very effective. I have no idea why I didn’t try it sooner. Do you have a tried and trusted burnout recipe? Please share below so we can all figure out this thing together, sharing truly is caring! Drawing a dtiys from about three years ago? Oh yeah, don’t mind if I do🤭 I’m steadily heading into the slow lane of drawing what I feel like(obvi doesn’t apply to work projects, but ya know), and it’s a wonderfully freeing thing. . This sweet dtiys challenge is by @byannabelle.designs and I loved the sweet character and the peachy pink colour palette. I guess I didn’t really end up bringing that peachy pink across in my version all that much, but it was inspiring💖 . Happy Friday, loves x . . . . Day 14(prompt: weather) was the first day of #peachtober23 that I didn't draw and upload. It's been a pretty rough week(I've been a bit under the weather, pretty fully booked with work projects, and to top it off, my littlest noodle jumped off his older sibling's bunk-bed and fractured a bone in his foot). Under more relaxed circumstances, it probably would have been fine to push through and continue drawing and posting to complete the full month of peachtober. But, sometimes, choosing peace over succeeding is necessary. Today, I'm choosing a 'lil bit of peace😅 . The biggest factor for me, though - was that I was starting to dread drawing each new prompt. Never a good sign when creating personal art! I'm slowly learning to pay attention to those feelings, simply because I think that art shouldn't be forced. It should be challenging, yes. But forced, no. . I may still join a couple of prompts, because Peachtober is so much fun to be a part of, but only if I feel drawn and excited to do so in the moment🥰🤩 . Anyways, I hope my rambling made sense! TLDR: peachtober is amazeballs, but I'm tired and am proceeding to join with caution🤭💖 . . . . #createjoyfully #wordsforthought #womenwhoillustrate #digitalartistsofinstagram #peachtober #mentalhealthbreak #burnoutisreal #artburnout #drawdrawdrawdraw #markerartist #oilpastelsociety #shecreates #artinspiration by @this.is_pluto
