July 14th. This House is Creaking’s second album “I Want to Feel at Home Here” releases. 8 songs. 27 minutes. New THiC developments. If you want to hear it before it’s out on streaming we will deliver you a CD for $15.

“At turns aggressive and caressing, THiC blends the beautiful, the abject, and the outright strange to explore experiences had in the world — a period of trying to change oneself, a miscommunication, getting comfortable — and turn them into sonic experiments which both bombard and comfort the listener.” @fearofherowndesire

We can’t wait to host Chicago Electronic Art-Rock band @thishouseiscreaking at the 8th Edition of The New Colossus Festival, happening March 9-14, 2027.

Chicago-based duo Micah Miller and Ehmed Nauman form This House Is Creaking (THiC), a project born from the “third mind” of their collaboration. As musician, writer, and photographer Leor Miller captures, THiC channels 90s alt-rock, Midwest emo, and the spastic digital experiments of PC Music into pop-forward, anthemic art-rock. Turning inner monologues into dialogues about existential security, their music ranges from aggressive to caressing—transforming moments of self-change, miscommunication, and comfort into sonic experiments that both bombard and reassure the listener.

They’ve recently opened for Water From Your Eyes, Hotline TNT & DIIV.

FFO: Bleary Eyed, Total Wife, Full body 2, TAGABOW, Melaina Kol

You can listen to their new mindmelting single “There’s a Stench in the Air,” now on the 2027 New Colossus Playlist at the link in bio
