Sushi pops, but make them SPOOKY! 👻🍣🎃 We finally tried the viral spot @sushipopsuk at @boxpark last weekend with their spooky Halloween special too!🎃 Not only are they made fresh, but the concept is SO fun! The viral Halloween sushi is actually as spooky as it looks! I finally tried the Halloween @sushipopsuk at @boxpark in Shoreditch and this one definitely deserves a spot on your Halloween food list. For £13, you get a sushi roll packed with crispy salmon skin, cooked salmon mixed with Japanese mayo, red cabbage, wakame and tempura sweet potato, topped with orange & black tobiko. But the best part? It comes with a little salmon “brain” on top, plus pomegranate soy “blood” to really complete the Halloween look. It’s fun, it’s different and definitely one of those dishes you need to see in person — especially if you love trying limited-edition Halloween food. LONDON MARATHON DIARIES - WEEK 6 This week has been exciting, emotional and HARD. I started the week with the toughest interval session I think I’ve ever done. I went into it trying to have confidence in myself, but there were points where I genuinely wanted to give up. It was one of those sessions where finishing it felt like an achievement in itself. But there have also been some pretty exciting moments this week… I signed up for the BRAND NEW Stirling Half Marathon next May with @upandrunningevents - just three weeks after London! I also threw my name into the ballot for the @berlinmarathon because apparently one marathon goal at a time isn’t enough for me I was asked to become a content creator for @phdnutrition ! As someone who was already buying and using their products, this genuinely felt like such an achievement. And thanks to @homecooks.uk I’ve been kept fed and fuelled through another busy week with some seriously tasty meals. Then came the long run… The original goal was 9km. Nothing more. But at around 8km I realised something - I was on track to beat my 10K PB. A PB I set back in 2025, when I was at the HEIGHT of my marathon training. So I kept going. And I DID IT. A new 10K PB. I might have cried a little when I stopped my watch because this one meant so much more than just a time. Six weeks of showing up. Six weeks of rebuilding my fitness. Six weeks of doing the sessions even when they’re hard and trusting that eventually it will start to pay off. And this week, it did. Consistency really is working. They’ve just released their new Halloween Push Pop and trust me it’s eerie-sistible! 🤭 The Halloween Push Pop is coated in eerie orange & black tobiko and packed with cooked salmon, crispy salmon skin, sweet potato, wakame and red cabbage. Then there’s a little straw of pomegranate molasses “blood” that oozes out when you crack it open, finished with a salmon “brain” topper. 🧠 It’s slightly gory looking and I’m here for it! 😂 We also tried a selection of their other sushi pops as well as some of their sides which we also enjoyed.
