Stepping out as the MC of a room full of Abuja’s most accomplished women required an outfit that could match the energy, and darling, I did not come to play.

So grateful to have MCed the Global Women in Leadership Conference, a truly life-changing experience.

Inspired by incredible speakers who showcased the power of women’s voices.

Let’s celebrate the wonderful strength in every woman and recognize the importance of empowering them for a brighter future.

Fashion brought us together at the Nigeria Fashion Week Welcome Cocktail in Abuja, and your Abuja female MC held the mc at the event

Business leaders, policymakers, and some of the sharpest voices in the creative economy and fashion industry, all sipping, mingling and talking about African fashion as more than culture but as an industry with real commercial and global power.

We talked fashion in the same breath as business, investment, tourism and policy, because the future of African fashion will only be built when all of them work together.

Such a beautiful room and another memorable night as an MC in Abuja. 🎤✨

Remote work is honestly one of my favourite things, but working, eating and sleeping in the same space for days can start to feel like a lot, especially for me 😩

So in a bid to spice it up, I decided to leave the house, find a nice place to work, eat and enjoy the flexibility that comes with remote work.

I needed that!

I went for the @jetour_nigeria experience in Abuja and honestly, it was such a beautiful evening.

Amazing setup & thoughtful details, everything came together really well. Thumbs up to the production team!

I’m definitely paying more attention to the kinds of experiences happening around Abuja lately.

Face of a babe trying to have a media career, a social life, clear skin, slim waist, eight hours of sleep and peace of mind at the same time 😂

Being an MC in Nigeria means you can show up for an event and somehow be the one waiting.

I left home in a rush because I had a call time to meet.

My dear… I got there and realized I was basically the only person there. 😭😂

Luckily, H-Medix was next door, so I went to get some snacks because at this point, something had to enter my stomach. And this was actually my first time trying their snacks!

But please, if you’re one of those people that likes to arrive late for events, this is me begging you as an MC: start coming early!

Come with me to get two certificates in one day!

This year, I challenged myself to get my NIPR licence, and I’m so happy to say I am an inducted member of @niprofficial.

And somehow, I also found myself completing an intensive storytelling course with @mswitch_hub x @necathevoiceofbusiness

As a storyteller, learning how to tell stories better is always going to be important to me. I can’t wait to tell my story and the stories of entrepreneurs and business owners building amazing things.

Before you conclude that August was boring, have you tried Euphoria Saturday at Lupita?

Exactly.

There’s still time. Get dressed, call your friends and give August one final opportunity to make you happy.
