Thrifting gave me language when I didn’t have the words. I could find an overlooked piece, see what was still beautiful about it, and imagine what it could become. Somewhere in that process, I began finding expression again, too.

That same care is at the heart of how I serve women.
We spend so much time being who everyone needs that parts of us can get tucked away.

Through @thisisourroom.co , we gather for conversations that give us time beyond our titles and responsibilities, to see ourselves again.

Through @themourningmoms , a bouquet reminds a mother that she and her child are remembered.
What became a safe place for me has shaped what I hope to offer another woman: care, connection, and a reminder that there is still beauty here.

That’s what Styled to Serve means to me, and I’m honored to join @oilandhoneycollective for Covered & Becoming.

I’ll have three lip glosses, an old receipt, and a backup plan for God all in the same bag 😩

I haven’t shown my face over here since we launched BAG CHECK, but baby we are FIVE DAYS away and this conversation has been following me around like a cart on wheels.

Especially the part about releasing control. I can say “Lord, have Your way” and still have a few suggestions on how He should proceed.

We’re getting into all of that Saturday. A little laughter, some honest conversation, and a question I keep coming back to:

What could I have room for if I stopped carrying so much? 🤨

October, I’m ready for you 🤎

October is a FULL month for me.

My emotions usually live everywhere at once. I mean joy, remembrance, gratitude, longing, and excitement. All of it!

It’s my son’s birthday month + #PAIL month and this year our annual gathering falls on his actual birthday.

That alone makes this year feel different.

To gather women, create something beautiful, and pour into others on a day that has always carried so much meaning for me feels full circle in a way I can’t quite explain.

I’m emotional.
I’m excited.
I’m grateful.

And somehow, I know this one is going to be special.

My heart lives for #October.

Never knew I was just like the old blazer hanging in the men’s back section at the @Goodwill 😲

Thrifted item tells a redemption story and I relate well!

My son’s life didn’t end his impact, it literally changed how I see everything.

As the days, months, and years go by-that impact evolves.

And today, I don’t have the perfect words to explain that. However, I’m living in a way that reflects the love I still carry because
