AHHHHH my third single this year ‘Rid of You’ comes out on September 25th!!! I’m so freaking excited! I love this tune so much. I made it the first day I met the legendary @josh_scarbrow and it’s been in my head since. PRESAVE link in bio is now LIVE!! I can’t wait for you guys to hear it oh my god oh my god!!!! LAY ME LOW IS OUT NOW!!!!!

Lay me Low is a song about falling out of love with the craft of making music. The chorus, literally means when the artist passes away, will they be buried far under, and their legacy never remembered? It poses the question of what artistic limits are, and the wish to fall out of love with creativity. This narrative is upheld by haunting elongated vocals, harmony stacks and cinematic electric guitar.

As a musician, I think I reflect on this subject a lot, as do a lot of my peers, and I want to uplift my fellow artists and reassure them of what a great gift we have and encourage people to take the time to listen to these creations with grace and kindness, as a lot of work goes on behind the scenes, especially for independent artists. I feel so thankful to get to do this.

oh my god ‘Rid of You’ is OUT NOW!!!! I love this song so deeply.

‘Rid of You’ is a 2000’s inspired, One tree Hill opening scene esque, emo pop song. Inspired by bands such as Jimmy Eat World, early Snow Patrol and Feeder, the song deals with an old love keeping a permanent spot inside the heart. Through melancholic and nostalgic guitar tones underneath a softly elongated, yet desperate vocal, the song takes you on a journey of acceptance, as the artist comes to terms with the fact that, despite time and distance, there is an intimacy in silence, and this love may never be fully eliminated.

Im so passionate about this tune and I can’t wait for you guys to listen to it oh my god!!!!
