It is here, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
The Roam Fest 2025 Recap. YIPPPEEEEE! 🎉

This year was the biggest Roam Fest ever. More bikes, more stoke, more dirt, and more dancing than we ever could’ve imagined. But, Roam Fest has never JUST been an event... it’s been a gathering place, a catalyst, and a reminder of what happens when people come together with intention.

We’re endlessly grateful to the Roamies who showed up ready to ride, laugh, and connect. To our staff and volunteers who poured their hearts (and countless hours) into making this weekend flow. And to our incredible partners for believing in this vision and standing beside us. Your support made this space possible year after year.

This wasn’t goodbye. It was a celebration of everything Roam has grown to be, and everything it will continue to inspire.

So cue the highlight reel, tag your trail crew, and relive the magic. by @thisisroam

It’s been a helluvah journey. We started this adventure with 22 people, and through the years we’ve been honored to call 5,000 of y’all Roamies.

That number staggered us when we made the final tally. Remembering all the laughter, hugs, trailside whoops, meaningful connections, brilliant and brief encounters, and lifelong friends this adventure has brought us makes us feel so lucky, so loved, and so grateful for each and every one of you who have made Roam such a special and meaningful part of our lives.

This community has meant everything to us, and it will continue to impact all of us in ways big and small for years to come. Simply, thank you; it’s been a privilege to play bikes with you.

Keep the stoke, and stay rad. Ash & Andi Zolton

We came, we rode, we ate… and then rode some more. 😎

Huge thanks to all the vendors keeping our Roamies fueled—from amazing meals from food trucks, to our community pancake breakfast, and all the GU-powered activations.

Hydrate, snack, crush trails, repeat. 🚵‍♀️

Femme energy on the trails? Always. 💥 At Roam Fest, we’re pumped to lift up women-led MTB educators who make the sport more fun, fearless, and full of learning.

✨ @vntrbirds is a women-led adventure company in the Rocky Mountains. Wanna get involved? They’ve got some winter courses (AIARE + avy) coming up.
✨ @ladiesallride hosts MTB skills camps that inspire, energize, and teach. Worldwide. Looking for your next (or first) bike retreat? Look no further.
✨ @womensmtbnetwork is changing the narrative, helping women get to know their bikes like pros. They offer femme biking groups, clubs, and coaching.
✨ @browncountybikes is a stoke-filled femme-owned shop in Indiana. Looking to get more familiar on your metal steed? Hit them up for some pro-coaching.

Follow them. Support them. Learn from them. Ride your damn bike. by @thisisroam

Hooolllyy mackerel, do we love playing bikes! 🚴‍♀️ One of our favorite ways to play at Roam Fest is through partner-led workshops.

At Roam 2025, we hosted 54 (!!) workshops over the weekend covering everything from wilderness first aid to bleeding your brakes, pelvic floors to bunny hopping. All over the place, all the fun.

Huge thanks to all our amazing partners who led a workshop, and everyone who jumped in to learn. We had an absolute blast keeping the bike magic alive with you last September!

This year’s demo teams brought all the kindness, knowledge, and true Roamie uplift we could have asked for. A space was created where trying bikes felt like discovery, not performance.

One rider summed it up perfectly: “I’m 12 years into riding MTB and I’ve never had a demo experience like that. Riding different forks and components… I learned a ton.”

And that’s the point: it’s not about the flashiest bike. It’s about finding the one that feels right under your feet.

Reminiscing on desert bike party days…

Under the desert stars and layered in puffys, the Roamies gathered close to soak in some short-film magic. The four femme-focused bike films drew tears, gasps, and full-body cheers as we celebrated the titans and trailblazers of Freeride.

And as if that movie magic wasn’t enough, we got to hear from a panel of true media magicians (@rewikstrom @annekeller1 @heidivolpe @rebeccarusch). Their conversation cracked open the importance of representation for femme athletes and models in outdoor media, and reminded us that change doesn’t happen unless we demand it.

After a day of pure shred-fest, sweet treats from @guenergylabs and ultimate femme-spiration from @peakdesign were exactly what we needed.

Women-Led Wednesday hits different when you’re part of a community built by women, for women. 💛

As the holidays roll in, let’s channel that Roam Fest energy into how we gift:
support femme-led brands, shop small, and spoil your MTB crew with things that keep them wild + free on the trails.

Because when one femme shines, the whole dang squad gets brighter. 🌞

Subaru! Babes! You brought all that we needed at Roam. 🚙💨

Their stellar staff came in hot with the love, the tie-dye, and the most wonderful shuttles known to woman. From early morning drop-offs to post-ride pickups, they kept the good vibes (and wheels) rolling all weekend long.

On top of all that, Subaru delivered the much-needed Recharge Zone, a cozy haven for rest, connection, and solar-powered charging for all.

And because their commitment goes far beyond the festival grounds, the Subaru Queer Scholarship helped create more access, representation, and opportunity for queer riders.

Roam loves you!

This giving season, we’re wrapping our arms around one of our own: Roamie, firefighter, and all-around beam of light, Brecken Daley.

Brecken has been part of the Roamie family for many years, serving on both our logistics and medical teams - you may also recall her epic dance moves or impressive skills as a volunteer Ride Guide. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Last spring, after experiencing a grand mal seizure while on shift, Brecken was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation. Untreated, this tumor-like mass will continue to cause dangerous seizure activity and carries a high risk for a life-threatening aneurysm.

As she prepares for major surgeries and healing ahead, we’re asking our Roamie fam to help ease the load. If you’re able, please consider donating to her GoFundMe. The link is in our bio.

And yes, your Roamie Homie love and light are welcomed in your thoughts for Breck as she goes full send on this journey. by @thisisroam
