🎭 Live Drafts: Untitled Bruce Rowley Project comes to The Yard on Fri 25th Sept, telling the bizarre true story of a man who robbed a bank, drove eight hours across the US and threw the money into Taylor Swift’s garden.

📚 Fish Island Books is bringing Supper Club back together at Unlock on Thurs 24th Sept, with this month’s edition focusing on Makis Malafekas’ Deepfake - your ticket includes a copy of the book, pizza, a drink and dessert.

🔊 He helps electronic music producers of all levels to make sure their track are battle-ready to destroy dancefloors, with mixing and mastering and even entire track creation, all from his dedicated space in building, surrounded by like-minded collaborators.

Ava Pickett’s new play reimagines the story of Helen of Troy against the backdrop of an English civil war, with Michelle Dockery leading the cast.

But does the ancient myth successfully translate to modern Britain? Our review takes a closer look at the ambition, dark comedy and feminist ideas behind the production - and where it starts to lose its grip.

🎷 Jazz on Wick is back, and it’s getting harder to define.

This year’s festival brought together jazz, grime, hip-hop, Latin sounds and plenty in between.

We went along to see how Hackney Wick’s increasingly eclectic jazz festival is pushing the boundaries of what jazz can be - from The Mouse Outfit and Tara Lily to Ego Ella May and a headline collab between D Double E and Zeñel.
