What a long and hot week! It was such an honor to represent THE University of LOUISIANA on the 2026 Homecoming Court alongside these outstanding leaders. From getting to know the court, to all the events, the parade, and finally Homecoming Day, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to experience it all with.

Forever grateful to the Epsilon Psi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta (@cajundelts) for allowing me to represent a chapter that I love so much.

Thankful for everyone who supported me and made this week something I’ll never forget. Forever proud to be a Ragin’ Cajun. ❤️🤟

What’s up, Cajuns! My name is Thomas Moody. I’m a junior majoring in Business Management from the 5-0-4. Am I going to miss saying that.

What a summer it has been. From the early mornings and late nights of trainings, retreats, and orientations, to the laughs, the tears, and all the good and bad times, this staff has truly been one of a kind. I’m so glad that SOS brought us together because y’all mean the world to me, and I wouldn’t trade y’all for anything. Every single one of y’all has left a lasting impact on my life and on the person I am today.

To my dg students. Thank yall for all being awesome. Yall are going to do GREAT things at UL. Remember if you ever need anything, I’m always a text away.

To my Orientation Family: I love y’all like brothers and sisters. Y’all have no idea how much I appreciate you for putting up with me over these past few months. You’ve always been there for me every step of the way, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

To my Big, Kaidenwhere do I even start? You have been nothing but a role model to me since the minute I stepped on campus. When I found out at the SOS Retreat that you were my Big, it truly showed me that I was in the right place. Thank you so much for your constant encouragement, guidance, and, most importantly, your friendship. I’ll forever be grateful for everything you’ve done for me.

To Lauren, Morgan, and the entire Orientation Office, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing organization. I will forever cherish this experience and the chance you gave me. by @thomas_moody27
