Celebrate North East History Week at the Station East in Gateshead, kicking off with my Angel of the North sculpture workshop.
Make your own rendition of the iconic statue and put your spin on the head and face!
Make it beautiful or terrifying. Handsome or Grotesque! Up to you!
I'll guide you every step of the way, and show you how to do Eyes, teeth, horns, ears etc etc!
All materials and use of specialist tools included in the ticket cost.
All ages and abilities welcome.
So come and enjoy a beer or 6 and take your sculpture home at the end to pop in your oven to harden. It can then live on your mantlepiece for years to come!

Tickets on my website www.polymorphproject.com
Link in bio also!

QJC was created to incite and spread Queer Joy. But nobody is free until everyone is free, and the genocide in Palestine is saddening for us all. We reject the narrative that Israel’s actions will liberate queer people in the region.

As one of the signs on the @nclapartheidoffcampus encampment on Newcastle University campus says, there is ‘no pride in genocide’. What the apartheid state of Israel is doing to Palestine and Palestinians is NOT in our name.

No individual struggle can be overcome when another group of people is being subjected to what Palestinians are currently being subjected to.

The thing Queer Palestinians are most at danger from is Israeli bombs.

Trans and queer people against genocide. Geordies against genocide.

Here is the first ever Queer Joy Captured shoot!

All photos were shot and edited by QJC’s @thomasrobs98 , of QJC’s @amylangdown_ (they/she)

We have some super exciting shoots coming up and if you’d be interested in one, pop us message and we’ll reply ASAP. All shoots are free and done in/around the Newcastle area, either at @the_wardrobe_ncl or out and about, like this one was.

Photos don’t have to go onto social media, so if you want some just for yourself, that’s totally fine!
