I’m incredibly excited for the start of this community and being able to give back to the people that want to take the steps to working in the arts.

Athletes to Artists will be a resource, outreach, and inspiration for former athletes that wish to pursue the arts as a career path regardless of your background and sport. Whether you’re now a painter, musician, actor, writer, architect, etc. we’re here to help. This idea of a former athlete community to bridge the transition period of athletics to becoming an artist is something unique only to that person themselves and at the same time something everyone will go through. When I realized so many other actors and other artists that I’ve met once played sports competitively I decided now was the time to start.

So with that said; Athletes to Artists is up and running! Be sure to check out Athletestoartists.com. Where we have interviews with working Artists, events and talks to come in the near future, and soon to have resources for people in their respected field. Be sure and give us a follow on Instagram and Facebook as we’re on there. Any ideas or questions you may have, or if you want to share your story you can send us an email and we’ll be sure to get back to you. Wishing everyone the best and looking forward to the beginning of Athletes to Artists!

All in a week feeling light, floating through the fall 🍂 #fall

On a serious note thank you to everyone that’s reached out for the birthday wishes. Having turned 30 a couple of weeks ago and our second anniversary was a milestone we had been looking forward to and now that we’re in it the goals we reached are only because of our family, friends and colleagues. A million thanks! by @thooper_
