Modern design with a thoughtful purpose.

Recently completed in DC, this contemporary residence was designed to bring generations together while preserving their independence. A separate mother-in-law suite offers privacy and autonomy, while a seamless connection to the main residence keeps family close.

Two distinct living spaces, thoughtfully connected as one home.

A sequence of outdoor rooms, now on the cover of @annapolishomemagazine.

Across two acres in Alexandria, the fireplace lounge, pool house and terrace, and pickleball court each hold their own scene, linked by lawn and clipped hedges.

Drawing inspiration from the homeowners' favorite places on Martha's Vineyard and in the Hamptons, the landscape design creates a retreat right at home.

Keeping it light and bright on Chain Bridge Road.

A generous skylight fills the space with natural light by day, while concealed lighting creates a warm glow after dark.

Excited to begin the renovation to the beloved Little Washington Theater for the Rappahannock Association for Arts and Community (RAAC).

For months we have worked intimately with the RAAC to plan this extensive renovation that will soon provide the community with a completely refreshed venue.

Follow along as we give the local arts some state of the art upgrades.

Framing is happening on our Piedmont Residence in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This home is designed to reach out into the landscape and invite the site right up to the front door. The deep porches pinwheel around the home and guest house and allow for four seasons of living with the landscape.
