And HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! ❤️ by @thread.and.tether

✨ We gathered for a beautiful Samhain dinner last night 🖤 friends, littles, laughter, and the kind of good energy that fills every corner of a home.

Today, I’m feeling deeply grateful for this circle, for the way everyone shows up like true villagers, meeting the needs of the village. For entertaining my witchy offerings, passing dishes, making salad and dessert, doing the cleanup, and sharing their stories.

Last night, I found myself stepping back, watching it all unfold, the laughter, the care, the rhythm of community and feeling so moved by the big, beautiful energy that surrounds us every day, whether we’re together or apart. 🕯️🌙

I know some will unfollow, but the truth stands:

Power blesses its own violence and condemns resistance.

Charlie Kirk celebrated genocide; his voice fueled hate.

When we mourn such a figure, we forget that what is happening in Palestine has happened here.

As you wear orange on Sept. 30, remember the children lost to Canada’s own genocide—and see the parallels.

Do not confuse silence with virtue.

I created Ritual Joy as a simple, grab-and-go tool for when I need grounding or a spark of joy without the prep or clean-up. Each card is a five-minute or less micro-ritual—little altars, journal prompts, and sensory practices—that give me instant, healthy satisfaction when my brain is craving something quick.

It’s inspired by my love of Animal Crossing and the joy of puttering about—those tiny, satisfying tasks that make life feel cozy and meaningful.

This deck started as something just for me, but I’m realizing it might be worth sharing. Maybe I’ll start posting more of these rituals and how I use them in daily life.

✨ Here’s to small rituals, puttering joy, and everyday grounding.

✨ I had the privilege of sharing space with such a wonderful group of humans at @bringyourlovefestival on Saturday. Together we explored nervous system mapping, tuning into our body’s cues, and a few playful (& sour!) practices to support mind–body connection.

So grateful to have been part of this beautiful festival and to offer a workshop on nervous system care in such a vibrant, heart-centered space. 💛

We’re back for another midweek check-in and slow down! Wednesdays, evenings, in the middle of it all…isthe perfect time to return to your body. Let this be your reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and ground yourself in the present moment. You don’t have to keep up with everything…just come back to yourself.

I’ll be sharing more on nervous system care and stress regulation tomorrow at the Elevate event with Assiniboine College. I am so grateful to be part of a day focused on wellness, connection, and growth.

✨💕 Thank you all for participating in our little survey yesterday about self-care, physical and mental presence, and grounding. Your responses gave such meaningful insight into where you’re at right now. With that in mind, I’ve created these affirmations for you.

Affirmations are powerful tools for setting intentions and living mindfully.
Use these affirmations when you feel disconnected, when your mind starts to wander, or when you need a reminder that you are allowed to be fully present in your body and your life. Let them be a soft anchor you can return to, over and over again.
