Hi everyone 🤍

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to all of you—whether you’ve been here for a while or are just finding your way to my page.

I’m a mom, an occupational therapist, and someone deeply passionate about supporting babies and families in a way that feels both empowering and intuitive. My work centers around helping little ones feel good in their bodies to move, develop, and thrive—while also giving parents the tools and confidence to feel more connected and capable along the way.

In my practice, I focus on things like:
✨ Supporting healthy movement and development in babies
✨ Creating more ease in feeding, positioning, and play
✨ Helping parents understand the “why” behind what their baby is doing
✨ Encouraging connection, not perfection

I truly believe that babies don’t need to be “fixed”—they need the right environment, support, and opportunities to explore their bodies. And parents deserve to feel confident, not overwhelmed.

I’m so glad you’re here ☀️❤️✨

Hi! I'm Kayla Culbertson, board-certified occupational therapist and owner of Thrive and Shine Therapy LLC. After earning my doctorate degree in occupational therapy from the University of Toledo, I spent time working in outpatient pediatric clinics, schools, and early intervention. Throughout my career I have become extremely passionate about the implementation of early intervention and using a collaborative approach to work with infants, toddlers, and their families. My primary focuses are feeding, tethered oral ties, general development, and the incorporation of craniosacral fascial therapy. My goal as a provider is to build relationships with families while helping them achieve their developmental goals. ☀️

Crossing midline isn’t just a milestone- it’s an opportunity for your baby to explore coordination, body awareness, and different ranges of motion.

Bonus sensory experience if you let your baby do this naked or in their diaper! 😉

Little movements ➡️ big opportunities for development!
