I started this month just wanting to create... and I’m ending it feeling so grateful that I did.

A little taste of home, recreated in miniature. ❤️
This is a traditional South Asian/Desi dinner setup, with biryani at the center, served with sliced red onions on the side — a very familiar combination at family meals back home. 🇵🇰

I wanted this table to feel less like a display and more like a little moment from everyday life.

So much of our culture lives around the dining table — food, family, conversations, and memories. And this tiny table holds a little piece of that for me. ❤️

Day 19 of #minijoymonth2026 and I am hosting for the day.
The prompt for today is ‘Taking Shape’

Huge thanks to @vintagedollhouseshop for such a wonderful event. For a beginner miniature artist like me, I cant even put in words how much I have learned and enjoyed over these past few days.

After taking such a long break from creating, moving to a new country, and slowly finding my way back to clay, seeing a whole little scene come together like this makes me so proud. It’s a reminder that even when life gets messy, you can always start creating again, one tiny piece at a time. 🤍

Almost everything you see here was handmade by me. The only exceptions are the food storage pots, pans, and a few other pieces I already had.

And yes... that last photo is the bigger picture. Because sometimes you need to step back from all the little details to see what you’ve actually created.
