Last minute Tokyo Game Show 2026 was a blast! Met so many new faces and of course ran into many pals! This year was the biggest event I’ve ever seen so far. They definitely went all out!

I was stoked to playtest Ace Combat 8 since I’m looking forward to that. I can’t wait for that game to take over my life!!!! It was familiar but also even more polished.

Anyway I love video games. I continue to look forward to even more video games! And video game music~

The Radiant Storm wants to FIGHT !

My annual Pokemon drawing appears.

This one took a long time because I got stuck in the concept phase for months, possibly even years. I’ve redrawn this so many times because I didn’t like the pose, or the style (since I can never decide), or should I include the whole team or just my favorite Pokémon? I settled on just my favorites. And after doing an art study on Ken Sugimori-san and reading about how he views his own art and design I felt more confident to just throw my hands up and do it. Make it exist first then worry about perfecting it!! Which is so hard for me you don’t understand…. LOL

But finally it exists!

Deltarune! 🌼 Here are some stills from the latest Deltarune music video I filmed, edited and directed. This is the @richaadeb & @calebhyles cover of Flower Man by Toby Fox & @cametek_ from Chapter 5.

Every Deltarune cycle we try to do our best! Ever since Chapter 2 I feel like I’ve pushed myself to make better and better music videos to better represent the source material. I feel a bit rusty this year since it is definitely a slower year than previous ones but I’m glad this game is invigorating to my creativity and inspires new ideas or builds upon old ones. There’s nothing groundbreaking in this video but I’m moderately pleased with the execution.

While we went to Japan for BitSummit, we spent a few days in Tokyo also! And I know I’m basic but I just love it. It’s such an amazing city.

There’s always new places to explore and we even somewhat broke the mold of what we usually do.

Someday I hope to mentally map the whole city 😤 by @thunderesque

Pokemon Then and Now… Happy 30th!

I begged my parents for a copy of Pokemon Yellow only to be devastated that I couldn’t evolve the Pikachu into Raichu (my favorite). Then, a dear friend sent me a copy of Pokemon Red in the mail and it arrived to me on a day I came home crying from a particularly bad day at school (bullying). I’ll never forget the nice random gift and letter they wrote to me. ❤️ Those were my first memories of Pokemon. Collecting cards from friends who had too many doubles. Making paper dolls of my favorite Pokémon because I was frustrated I couldn’t find plushies of them in my local town. Slowly and surely this started to change….Fast forward many years later I’m playing Pokémon with friends and strangers around the world and around my city. Visiting Pokemon Centers in the origin land of Japan (and buying many plushies!!)! My collection grows to this day. Even one of my bucket list goals of getting artwork of mine featured on a vinyl cover came to fruition thanks to @insaneintherainmusic’s Pokemon Sinnoh album! Pokémon has always been about friends and having fun to me and I think I can safely say it isn’t a phase Mom!~ #pokemon30 #pokemon30anniversary by @thunderesque

Happy New Year! 🎆

明けましておめでとうございます！

Gonna be honest this year kinda sucked. But we made the most of it and got through it. Saw a meme that said “2025: but did you die?”

And that honestly was the vibe. I’m happy for all people we met and got to hang out with, and especially for the people who reached out. That meant a lot to me thank you so much.🙏 I hope we can all move forward to better times this coming year. Don’t give up. by @thunderesque

Happy 10th Birthday Undertale!

Looking back it wasn’t the reason for my life changing but it did coincide with a bunch of changes.

The most literal personal connection I can think of, was for the one year anniversary I helped @richaadeb film his cover of “Ruins” which was the first time we seriously worked in collaboration with each other and both thought “wow, this… ain’t so bad and is actually fun…”

I more or less supervised the editing, but that was one of the first times I told him I actually enjoyed editing. It’s a treasured memory and I do like that our professional start was for a series and music we both enjoy. Plus it was reassuring we could work well together for other reasons~ ! ❤️

I didn’t start doing this full time until a few months later but what a cool first run.

Anyway I can’t believe it’s been a decade since the release. It’s amazing to me how influential this game has been. I feel extremely lucky to have met so many people because of its existence. The greatest honor an artwork can achieve in my mind is bringing people together and I think this game succeeds exponentially in that. by @thunderesque

Very first Pokémon Worlds was great! Since we’ve been playing Pokémon Go again this year, Worlds was a cool celebration of all things Pokémon. I wish we had planned it better but our schedule is still eff’d however we still managed to fit a lot in, meet with friends and new people!! I’m really excited to go again!

I didn’t get an Eternatus…..but I got a shiny Shuckle LOL by @thunderesque
