Some of you may know her as Cynthia @cynthiajim2 , some may know her as an elder, a mother, a sister , a teacher, a poet, a dancer, a healer, a singer, a light, a friend, a co worker. Some all of the above. What an absolute privilege to have worked with @thunderhaus.ca to produce these. More to follow but what a beautiful woman inside and out. by @thunderhaus.ca
Wow…🥺 this is such an honour to be nominated for an @canadiansme award! Our lil queer, woman-owned company is focused on building artist brands & Indigenous businesses. We couldn’t have done this without our amazing team and roster at @thunderhaus.ca ⚡️❤️ #smeawards2025 by @thunderhaus.ca
Thanks for having us at your Grammy party @socanmusic ⚡️⚡️ by @thunderhaus.ca

This is the last day to vote for our own @tiamiscihk for Artist of the year for @womeninmusiccanada :) Vote: www.womeninmusic.ca !! 🗳️ by @thunderhaus.ca
BRB crying 😭 This is an incredible honour to be nominated for change maker of the year by @womeninmusiccanada and the @nac.cna . I didn’t expect our small, queer-woman owner management company to be a contender..but then I remember how much work this has been and how proud I am of my talent and team. In this past year alone, our artists have launched top podcasts, released music, performed with international stars, performed at the Junos, NHL and we helped CBC market their hit show North of North! @northofnorthshow . I’m so grateful to be managing two of the most incredible Indigenous singers in this game: @tiamiscihk (who was also nominated for Artist of the Year!) and her sister @fawnwood and the rankest podcast of the year @realrankpod . Thank you to all of our artists for their incredible talent and visions….thank you for believing in the work we’re doing to build your brands & businesses at @thunderhaus.ca - I’m so proud that we’re seeing more Indigenous and queer voices succeed in this industry as a result ❤️ by @thunderhaus.ca
I’m so proud of @tiamiscihk for receiving her second Juno’s nomination…this time for her incredible song “Sage My Soul”. It’s fitting because this song exemplifies hope to me….it shows how strength is actually rooted in honesty. Being true to yourself and being there for others is all we really have at the end of the day. We have to take care of this precious life and treat people well…and stand up. We worked so hard this year and found out what it takes to survive in this industry…You really need solid people around you. You need friends, mentors, family and a team who believes in your vision….you need a community that believes in you and is willing to go the extra mile…or be patient when you’re struggling. It really takes everything to do this work and it’s so easy to get burnt out. Thanks to our team at @sonymusiccanada for helping to make all of this a reality and walking by our side through this crazy and amazing year. From last year’s Juno performance with @snottynoserezkids to a sold out crowd with @shawnmendes - Tia is really taking her place on big stages…learning to bring her authentic, generous and powerful message to the world. You show me every day that we don’t have to be perfect to make art…or to make a difference. We just have to show up and bring our true selves to the table…This song really embodies that. Thanks for trusting me to help manage all of this and I can’t wait to see more dreams come true…congrats my bro 🫶🏼 Special thanks to our team & collaborators: @paquinartists @audrey.esq @taominglau @william.dmitchell @mirandansnyder @iainmac @dnldvln @_v_thatsme @kimberleyannrenaud @kristakhalaf @wherethewildthingsare63 @directedbymom @tabi @danelkayam_ justin by @thunderhaus.ca
It takes a lot of hugs to get in front of 19,000 people like that 😂 I’m so proud of you @tiamiscihk …this was pure magic with @shawnmendes ❤️ I can’t believe that your next single is coming out tonight…in the wake of all of this. It feels like some dreams are coming true…And all these new experiences are showing us how our faith pays off and how important healing is on this journey ❤️‍🩹 . 📸 @thomasfalcone @liahansenphoto . #managerlife #shawnmendes #tiawood #vancouver #singers #indigenousmusic by @thunderhaus.ca
What an unbelievable experience! Now that we’re done crashing out…I wanted to take a second to express my extreme gratitude to @shawnmendes (and his team) for including @tiamiscihk in his latest show in Vancouver. He reached out to Tia personally and approached this with intention: encouraging Tia write her own verse / vocable. I love what she came up with for the song “Youth” (which talks about the state of the world and how that leaves us feeling hopeless to make change)… This is exactly the kind of allyship we need for rising Indigenous voices…not just inclusion, but the passing of the mic and trust that youth will fill that space with powerful stories, truth and beauty. To our friends, family and the very small team around Tia - thank you for all for showing up and making our girl feel perfect and like she belonged on that stage. The energy backstage was electric and only matched by the 19,000 people that Tia walked out to. The performance was incredibly emotional and so impactful. Honestly, this was one of the best weekends and days of my life. I’m so proud of you Tia. Thanks for trusting me to support your dreams. I hope it felt as perfect as it was to witness. It’s nice to get signs like this…that let you know you are chasing the right things and focusing on what makes you well and grow…like collaboration, vision, integrity, generosity, love. . Believing in talent is the magic feather. I have a lot of faith and respect for the roster @thunderhaus.ca . These moments remind me that hard work and investing in people is how you create luck and an authentic life 🍀 . I’m the luckiest. I spent all year working on what is important: my talent, business, myself, family…Now, it’s paying off and I’m grateful to those who believed in us. . We’re beginning to experience some joy and success after a lot of sacrifice and pressure and heartbreak. . Thanks to my team and all my friends, family and talent for being so supportive…sticking around when we were stretched thin. . Sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about how much more I want to do and I need to remember to breathe and be grateful. I believe the universe is bringing us true friends and opportunities and amazing people for a reason, now. . It’s nice to stop and enjoy a special moment with some friends and be proud of where we got together. . Thanks @shawnmendes for inviting @tiamiscihk to this inspiring show. . #softmasc #talentmanager #manager #singer #shawnmendez #tiawood . 🎵 “Sage My Soul” out Oct 17 by @thunderhaus.ca
I’m a proud manager today. Tia slayed the @socanmusic awards this week by performing a new release called “Sage My Soul” (coming out Oct 17th)! . We came on a mini tour after my birthday - first playing a SOLD OUT show at the @chancentreubc in Vancouver for Come Towards the Fire and then the @mnoominkewin rice festival. . We met some amazing new friends on our adventures and realized how lucky we are to be able to travel and heal our hearts with art 🥲🍀🥰 . Congrats @tiamiscihk #softmasc #managerlife #singer #indigenousmusic #indigenoussinger #socan #socanawards by @thunderhaus.ca
It was an honour to be invited to the @tiff_net premiere of @nikamadisonfilm by @msevathomas @canoe.film @gametheoryfilms The movie featured 2 songs by @tiamiscihk and starred @littledragxn and @ellynjade It was an incredible experience and film 🎥 🎵 Congrats to the cast and crew! #tiff #indigenousfilm #premiere @thunderhaus.ca by @thunderhaus.ca
