Weight of an Anthem, 2020
Video, color; 1 min.

Weight of an Anthem is a video of a concrete block submerged under water. The block is immobile, pinned in place by gravity. With the distortion of water surface under which the block is sunken, the appearance of the block animated by its environment seems weightless, dynamic, as if it is flown in the air, lifted by the currents, and hung spreading in the wind. by @tianskultan

bau เบา, 2020
Site-specific performance
Dimensions variable

In collaboration with @sornr

bau เบา is a public art project, consisting a persistent action of writing on Stephane Hessel Platz with water from remaining Asbach river.

Asbach is a river that flows from the west of Weimar. It used to join with Ilm river in the east, until 1936, the Nationalsocialists removed part of Asbach from the map by placing on it the construction of Gauforum, a symbol of the third reich’s power.
