We need Wild Florida & Gladesmen to pack the room this Thursday!

Many people are mad about the Kelly Tractor decision, and now the Everglades needs you to speak up and ensure 29,000 acres of wetlands in Miami-Dade stays protected and care for 🐊

The Environmentally Endangered Lands Program is a purchasing, acquiring, and maintain wetlands and Everglades in the County, which face immense pressure of degradation and development.

The Everglades NEEDS YOU to show up and speak up! This is the second and final budget hearing of Miami-Dade which will decide 2026-2027 funding. Public comment is in the beginning, so you should not have to stay long.

I urge ALL stakeholders and voices to come out and defend this critical wetlands and Wild Florida!

This morning made me realize how lucky I am to have a drone/licence. without it, I would not been able to have seen and document so much wildlife that most of us don’t get a chance to see. On top of all that I’ve had the opportunity to meet several people now new friends who all have the same best interest, and that is saving what we have left as far as wildlife and wild Florida goes. I am grateful, so this song to me has a true feeling💙 taken in Hutchinson Island by @tidalqueenn

Jupiter Mayor Kuretski oddly stated that public comment may be cut short for those addressing Suni Sands Development

Public comment is generally first and it is open to any citizens who civically shows up.

The Mayor alluded to potential time constraints as why public comment could be adjusted tonight.

⚠️ Attend the Town of Jupiter meeting on Sept 8th to speak against the Suni Sands Development

It would add a hotel, apartment, amenities, and 17 dock slips that’d be especially damaging to the sea grass and coastal ecosystem.

Tuesday SEPT 8 @7:00pm
General Town Council Meeting
210 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458

Public Comment begins very early in the meeting so you won’t have to stay long. But every comment would be critical.

For more info, watch the entire video or see the collabed videos and info on @jupiterinletfoundation
