Hey Flowmies! I’m happy to share my first hoop tutorial on one of my favorite moves that I learned from Michele McCoy (aka @autumnflowhoops ) - The Elbow Weave!

Prerequisites: Elbow hooping (reverse current)

Trick Breakdown:
1) Face one side of the room. Spin hoop backwards towards the other side of the room.
2) Place the hoop on your elbow.
3) While elbow hooping, look for the space opening up *above* your head.
4) When open space is *above* your head, begin turning 180-degrees towards the hoop & pinch your elbow down against your body.
5) Keep moving with the hoop’s momentum and turn another 180-degrees.
6) When you get back to the starting point, immediately stick your elbow out and start elbow hooping again.

Troubleshooting:
- Practice footwork without the hoop - I’ve found the footwork is the biggest factor in successfully doing this move.
- Turn your body with extra momentum/force - You want to make sure you do a full 360-degree turn when performing this move.
- Keeping the hoop on the wall plane is crucial - If the hoop is not aligned correctly, it will hit your body.

Any feedback or questions are welcome! I had so much fun creating this, so let me know if you want to see any other tutorials ❤️

Update: In the video I mention that you want to wait until the opening is behind your head. The more accurate timing to start initiating the turn when the opening is *above* your head!
