Bali taught me what it really means to live To live simply & authentically This island showed me kindness, even when situations weren’t easy It taught me to detach from things and choose experiences instead Smiles over objects. Three months since this unexpected turn in my life. It was “just” a collarbone fracture, a fairly common injury, but painful and serious enough to make me stop. Stop the constant running. The rush of everyday life. The feeling that everything needs to be done now, that there’s always somewhere else to be, something else to do. And I think what surprised me most was that none of this was new to me. I’ve been practicing yoga for years. I know what it means to slow down, to listen to the body, to respect its limits, to trust the process. But knowing something and actually living by it are not always the same thing. Somewhere along the way, I got caught up in the rush too. So maybe this fracture didn’t come to teach me something new. Maybe it simply made me slow down enough to remember. To trust my body. To work with it, not against it. To give it time #collarbone #injury #faith #trust by @tiepac
