Grateful for what the last season taught me, excited for what the next one is bringing. There’s something special about watching the pieces come together in their own time.

And speaking of new seasons… I think it might be time for another shoot with one of my favorite crews. 👀🤎

Still taking it all in. 🥹✨

From the preparation behind the scenes to watching our vision come to life in Idlewild and even sharing the story through the news this experience meant so much more to me than an activation.

This journey started with the vision of Dr. Edwards, who encouraged us to look deeper, think bigger, and remember that the only limits on our creativity are the ones we place on ourselves. Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to bring an idea to life at the @blackfootwearforum 🙏🏽

Mrs. Edwards, thank you for your encouragement, positive words, and the way you continuously show up alongside Dr. Edwards. Your presence throughout this experience meant more than you know. 🧡

Learning Virgil Abloh’s history and creative approach through the Virgil Abloh™ “ @post_____modern ” program challenged me to look at things differently, while @merrell It Starts Outside gave me the opportunity to use storytelling beyond product and connect it to something meaningful: the history, people, and community of Idlewild. 🤍

So much gratitude to @dior.edwards14 , Tam, @out.cast (for your beautiful Idlewild, Michigan art posters) , @deb.refined , @eustace.robinson , @liliadrianaknox , @chrisdixonnc , @2kreative , @aricarmon , Sam, Troy, Nikki, @b_mullen24 , @haydeedfranco , @hangersandlasts , @cotteonsmooth , @designer_esm , @ce_ce_chin @thetamikamayes , and the entire @plcdetroit team for going above and beyond. Thank you to @phylliscaddell for the incredible PR/media support and helping us share our story with @fox2detroit . ✨

Thank you @thehollyyoung , @erica.sanchez_1 and the rest of the incredible @merrell / @wolverineworldwide team, @allprocolorprinting (for printing everything so beautifully), @getflower.d (the beautiful flowers) , and especially the Idlewild community for welcoming us, trusting us, sharing your history, and allowing us to create alongside you @nicolenacreates @blackedenbrews.idlewildcoffee @idlewildaboutart @susan_matous , Blair, Chris, Joyce, Kurt and @infoscigeek
Special thank you to @fullmorejoancarol @poweredtodream @cherylkimbroughphotography for the continued encouragement and help 🙏🏽

THE HOUSEGUEST SERIES No. 1 👏🏽👏🏽 by @iampjjenkinsjr
was nothing short of amazing. For decades I’ve always admired your gift for creating spaces that don’t just look beautiful, they make you feel calm, inspired, welcomed, and creatively alive. From the roses, art, coffee table books and impeccable brunch spread to the beautiful conversations and energy, every detail was truly chef’s kiss. Thank you both 💫 for thoughtfully including me in such a special curated morning. This is only the beginning🌹🥂🥐 @whatcrepe

Officially certified in Product Marketing! 🎓✨🥹🙏🏽

My heart is full as I celebrate completing the Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” × Merrell Product Marketing program at @plcdetroit . This experience stretched my creativity, strengthened my purpose, and reminded me of the power of community.

Dr. Edwards, you are one of the most extraordinary visionaries I have ever encountered. Thank you for seeing greatness in others, pouring your wisdom into the next generation, and creating opportunities that have the power to transform lives. What you have built at @plcdetroit is far more than a HBCU, it is a magical place where talent is seen, purpose is awakened, and dreams are given room to become reality. Learning in a space shaped by your vision has been an honor I will carry with me forever.

To the incredible #PLCDetroit staff, thank you for your guidance, encouragement, and genuine support throughout this journey.

I’m deeply grateful to @merrell, Virgil Abloh @post_____modern @fashionscholarshipfund and the wonderful people of Idlewild for allowing us to learn from your stories, honor your legacy, and imagine what’s possible. The impact of this program will stay with me forever. 🙏🏽💫 by @tiesheko
